Kusina Pinoy Bistro reviews
21Good service but I was seated next to I guess the supply closet which stunk. Unpleasant smell made my experience terrible. Food was alright.
The food was bad & overpriced. Unfortunately, I didn't like anything I ordered and it was their highly recommended dishes. The lighting in the restaurant was too bright. The light shines into your face. Very uncomfortable setting.
Came here for the first time and had a great brunch! My friend had the beef tapas flakes and I had the bistek and buko juice. Both hit the spot! The really nice decor and music playlist was also added to the great vibes.
Unfriendly/ impatient, rude waitress, unprofessional, “masunget”! The pansit bihon is spoiled, don't serve it if it smells! - Eat it. Asking for in-can soda, they told me that they don't have it but I saw some in the fridge, I let it go, their soda without spirit is enough. The pakbet is so overcooked, there are no other ingredients. Tha Kare-kare liempo is so dry, tasteless. There's a cover charge of $10/person and we're not aware of it! Unrecommended! You can't enjoy eating there.
I was just there today. The sisig is way too salty
I ordered tortang talong and it was soggy. Soaked in cooking oil.waiters are nice though
The waitress handed me a lid for my to go box but then it accidentally drop on the floor in front of me and said it’s okay because it was up side down… anyways I did asked for another one at the bar.
Grabe! I ordered chichapollo and pork adobo and what I got was beyond terrible. The chichapollo was BURNT! And I don’t know what is that dish I received posing as adobo but that is not it! What I got was what seemed to be ONE piece of pork belly and some sad and dry potatoes and one boiled egg… no sauce! I grew up eating adobo and this place should be ashamed of serving/delivering this pathetic version of pork adobo. Either that or I received the wrong dish. Nevertheless, I am appalled and will never order from here again. Nakakahiya kayo! Wala itong maipagmamalaki bilang isang Pilipino! Terrible!
The food was good but 2 of our plates were 15 minutes late and there was a $10 person cover charge they didn't warn us about at the beginning. It's a shame.
Was there with a group of people. A bit disappointed. Food wasn't good as it usually is in Woodside. Chicharon bulaklak was undercooked. Tokwat Baboy was so so. The waiter we got wasn't friendly. Then even after the fact that we reserved the table for an immense amount of people they were cleaning up our space even though we still had food on the table. They were rushing to kick us out because we weren't ordering anymore. That to me is bad customer service. I've never seen anything like it. It was my first time and probably will be my last.
Food was good, although our chicken Inisal came out 20 mins after the rest of our parties. The server also charged us a cover charge which we were never told about otherwise we would not have dined in. Very unprofessional server but otherwise good.
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE BUSINESS.
I had a friend visit from Ireland that wanted to try Filipino food for the first time. Choosing this place was a terrible idea. My friend was so turned off and unsatisfied. And as a Filipina, I am ashamed of this establishment.
We ordered via Seamless: We ordered 2 main dishes and one appetizer. Ginataang shrimp had 3 MEDIUM SHRIMPS! ONLY 3! We had to pay extra $3 for 3 shrimps! It’s ridiculous! They gave us so little rice… Chinese spots give more rice than what we got. We also ordered lumpia shanghai and it cost $13… for 10 pieces! And the kare kare barely had any sauce so it was dry and lumpy.
You couldn’t pay me to order from this place again. You guys are lucky we ordered online and not sat down to eat or else we would have walked away without paying a dime. Stop cheating customers! This is shameful and not something a Filipino should be proud of.
I ordered chicharon bulaklak over the phone. On the menu list is my is priced $8.95 and the guy told me it’s not a lot and only good for 1 person; so I ordered 2. When I picked it up my bill was $36.01 and the guy told me it’s now $15 and change. Seriously! They should update the menu and price list. And he was right it was not alot. Not worth $15 and change at all. So disappointed
Came here with my wife and friends. Ordered the chicken cordon bleu, they do not have it, ordered the chicken inasal and they don't have it. Charge $15 coverage for some band singing karaoke songs and other people in the restaurant. Left a tip, than they demanded more money, added another $10 and they demanded another$20. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!
Kusina! Celebrated my tito's birthday here and had the best time with the best server and table runners! They took our orders fast and efficient. Served our food without any long wait times. The setting was just right. You can have conversations without being interrupted because the volume of the music wasn't too loud. The food was on point! Loved the halo halo and sisig the most. Dont forget to order chicken skin!
Food and service were great. The only thing is if you’re going later at night there’s a live band that can get a little loud
Kusina Pinoy Bistro is one of the best in town! Good food! Warm ambiance! Very deligent service! Friendly atmosphere! We enjoy their live music on a weekly basis! One of the bands we love watching are, QUEENS project band, IMPROMPTU, REDHORSE, Expo, Hamog bands and others (we forgot the names but they are equally good too!) that showcase talents and energetic music! Awesome entertainment! Whenever we have a chance to come to catch up with these bands we had a great night! Stress of life washes away for a night!
There was live entertainment on the Sunday I was there. Band performing was amazing (The Werners). Food was great.
Firstly, the waiters had an attitude and was very rude to me and my girlfriend. The wait time for the food took forever. Also, food was not very good and the BBQ meat outside looks unsanitary. I will not recommend to anyone
Food is okay. The squid could have been a lot better had they drain the oil after deep frying it. The pork adobo is a little different from what I expected. I have never seen it serves on a sizzling hot plate like this since it's more of a braised dish; it's okay, I don't like the burnt bottom too much. My favorite is the vegetable dish. They had live music while we were there, but we had to pay a fee ($10pp). Might be a little too loud for some people.
My fiancé wasn’t greeted with a warm welcome. He ordered his food for take out and when opening his food he was given ONE PIECE of adobo with his garlic rice and and egg. ONE PIECE. He didn’t release until he got home. What a disappointment for a place that is great.
