LA Fitness, Garden City NY

Absolutely gross gym. I travel all over the USA and this one of the dirtiest LA fitnesses I’ve ever been to. One very obvious thing is that the Return filter vents look like they’ve never been clean so if your mouth and body feel dry it’s because the heating system is blowing out low quality air.

It’s a shame that the dirtiest LA’s are on Long Island. There should be more competition so owners try to keep this place nice.

10 years ago LA fit was the dream gym to go to, 10 years from now they may be a thing In the past on Long Island.

I recently joined LA Fitness and found the Garden City Park location to be too cramped for my covid comfort level. I decided to try two other locations nearby, Garden City and Lake Success.

The Garden City location is the only one of the three I felt comfortable each time I've worked out so far. I couldn't even finish my one and only workout at Lake Success.

The manager at the Garden City location, Dave, runs a tight ship and the cleaning staff are top notch. Even my teenage daughter noticed how thorough they were cleaning the equipment during our last visit.

Intake was blah. My tour was unexplained just a partial walk through. However I am excited that I joined.

This environment really helped me reach my fitness goals! I recommend something like this for every person looking to reach there goals. The locker rooms are very clean and the lockers spacious.

Super cool gym they have good new machines, staff is super friendly they give you a tour let you know all the options to join and i love that its wide open and has a lot of classes

LA FITNESS helped me achieve my goals by providing a safe, and positive environment. Everyone is friendly and willing to help you achieve goals.

This place is filthy. I hope someone from management reads this and does something. Someone needs to sweep the racquetball courts. Water foutains are disgusting.
Overall, machines are in good shape. Most days it is not crowded. Staff is friendly. Hours are good. Although, i wish they were open longer on weekends.

Lots of great equipment, for that, it gets a little packed at peak times. Still always able to get a good session in because the place is huge! Good operating hours. 4 stars because the men's room always needs attention and front desk crew seem like they have no souls. A "good morning" or "good afternoon" goes a long way somethimes.

Awesome facilities. Everything was perfect and new and overall just a 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for a new gym this is the one for you!

Filthy. Broken equipment. I regret buying my son a membership at this gym. I am definitely not renewing. Staff not well trained and doesn’t pay attention to member complaints.

If your unsure of where to go for memberships, I would gladly recommend LA Fitness in Garden City. John is the man!

Certain equipment is a bit outdated and most are dirty, bathrooms are disgusting, dumbells are almost impossible to find. Pretty disappointed with the overall quality of this gym to be honest. Exploring other options
