Optometrist LensCrafters reviews
28Great experience at Lens crafters. Efficient visit and chatted with a friendly store manager will fixing the set up of my old glass frames for free!
I had a great experience with Dr. Johnson and Sherlene. They were super helpful and explained all my options. I will be a return client and recommend them to others. Great selection of frames too!
Super helpful staff that really went out of their way to help me get a good fit with contacts and frames.
I went there for an adjustment on my glasses and after saying that this is not a brand she sells, she pushed super hard and broke them
Horrible! It takes forever to get to talk with anyone from this company. When finally someone picks up the phone then they hang up on you after they tell you they will transfer me.
It has been over a month and they have not refunded my money and my insurance benefits. What kind of business takes this long to refund you back?
I went here because my boyfriend researched the best lense crafters in nyc and this one popped up. I have to say it really is. There was so much attention to detail. Everyone was there to help. It was extremely professional. They allowed my boyfriend to come in with me everywhere I went and included him. They really made it easy and fun for us. I highly reccomend this place.
August 26th I had an appointment for an eye exam and to get a pair of glasses. When it came time to pay, the total was over $450. The location’s supervisor swiped once, said the system was down so she’d need to swipe again. I check my account to see that the amount was pending, but she assured me the charge would be dropped the next day. She swiped again, and said it was still down so she’d need to swipe a third time. I found the 2nd amount to also be pending in my account and again she promised it would be dropped the following day.
I ended up having to type in a card number for a card that I didn’t have on me, which finally went through. The following day, nearly $900 was taken out of my account. After several phone calls with the store they claim there is no charge shown for the first two transactions, but my bank statements say otherwise. They have refused to help me any further saying I need to take it up with my bank. I am on my second dispute with my bank.
This location stole $900 from me. The manager has done the absolute bare minimum, refusing to provide a direct number to headquarters, and claiming they don’t do refunds within the store. The supervisor that did the transaction claimed ignorance to the whole thing, basically telling me she doesn’t remember the details of the whole thing.
I advise anyone that has an upcoming appointment to A) reschedule for a different location or another company B) hold on to your receipts (they didn’t provide anything for the “voided” transactions).
I had the worst experience ever with customer service. Very unprofessional. The Hispanic with long black hair was the worst of all. Please don’t buy your glasses in that store. I recommend you go to another store that values their customers.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I was walking on 23rd and saw the store and had two pair of non prescription sunglasses purchased else wear that needed to be adjusted. I walked in and asked the staff if they can adjust the sunglasses and they were glad to assist me. Lauren was the staff member that assisted me. She had an amazing personality and was friendly. They didn't charge me but I did give Lauren $10 for her time for a coffee or treat and she said that she will give the money to their donation/charity box which I thought was very kind of her. If you need anything related to eyes (exam, adjustments, prescriptions) I highly recommend going to LensCrafters on 23rd and see Lauren.
Amazing tech, super fast, incredibly kind folks. New go to for glasses, contacts, adjustments etc. Thank you!
Wish I could give this place 0 stars.
I am extremely dissatisfied with their service. I switched to a new contact lens, in order to take advantage of the larger savings, however when I tried to file for them, the contacts they had purchased for me, were not even listed and I still have not been able to receive my savings.
Horrible, horrible place. I was a client there. Im not coming back again. Horrible service. They dont care at all
Inflexible and bad service. Unwilling to help customers simply because “they don’t want to”. Don’t recommend this location.
Super informative and comfortable. Everyone is welcoming and knowledgable, never have a bad experience here, they make eye exams fun!
Very impressed with the quality of service I received - both the assistant and doctor explained each step in detail and answered my questions patiently. A true rarity in NYC!
Without doubt a cast of deeply unhelpful staff who went out of their way to find reasons not to help me with an emergency prescription. So rude and inflexible. Instead I walked into 10/10 Optics down the road - what a contrast. They really were fantastic and helped me with a 5 days supply for contact lenses and refused to take any money. Lens Crafters workers I suggest you pop down the road to your competitor store to see how customer service works.
Do not go there if you have any self respect for yourself. I've never been treated so rudly in my life. Pretty sure most of the good reviews are fake. These people are so unprofessional, I will never order from them again.
Terrible service, highly overrated. Go with a small business, they'll actually know what they're doing.
Always great service. I was nearby and had lost a contact. I just needed one to get through the day. They let me come in and gave me a free trial. Everyone who works here is excellent
Do yourself a favor and walk into another store, the only person who knows what they're doing is the eye doctor, and she seems like she wants a way out. I've worked a lot of jobs but in all of them I've never made the person who's bringing business into the store feel like I'm doing a favor shopping there, or upselling them on every little purchase. There's a hundred other optical stores with better people and better prices, walk into them.
