Lowe's Home Improvement reviews
26 Super nice in store but not always practical for “real” jobs.
Side note: I’m a contractor.
They use the definition of curbside very loosely. Needed something I was going to be installing at an elderly persons house and wanted low to no contact for that reason. Ordered online and arrived at the pre-designated parking area. Per the email I received that my order was ready I called the store to let them know I had arrived. I followed the prompts for curbside which rang a few times and then disconnected, I did this a several more times before deciding to try different departments. Finally I got a hold of customer service who hung up on me. I determined my only option was to walk into the store, I didn't think anyone would even know I was waiting at the spot for my order otherwise. I went in to a bewildered staff who informed me it gets busy and that in order to pick up an online order I needed to press their pickup button. I explained I was actually waiting for curbside and they told me again that in order to get your items the button had to be pressed. Not exactly curbside, I understand things can get busy and I don't mind waiting in my truck for a bit but atleast let me know that you know I'm there and someone will be with me eventually.
Unfortunately I have to leave Lowe's for a Business Opportunity, which saddens me to Tears. Conflict of Interest should not be allowed to stop anyone from working 2 jobs; especially now during the Pandemic
Needed a store room lockset.could not find one. Looked for an employee for 15 min. Could not find one. Used their app to find one. Pointed me to a lockset that was not store room function. Went to hd and passed 8 associates on the way in, thought I’ll see if I can find it. I could not. But their app led me right to it. In and out in 5 min. Lowe’s.your understaffed, and your app is terrible. I should have just drive the extra 5 min and gone to Home Depot first.
Good store but the store has limited staff that are somewhat hard to reach out to particularly when you are in search for items
Price was fair service was slow. Took over an hour to pick, up, a range. The employees were too busy having personal conversations kids holidays ECT. I guess they forgot customers. Buying. Pay wages
Stopped in for a snowblower. Employees showed great sense of urgance to help me. But their lack of knowlage if snowblowers eventually lead me to say "I'll just look for myself" I found what I needed at a fair price.
This place cases about it's customers. Unlike other large conglomerate hardware stores, they offer a veterans discount. The people are plentiful and friendly. The tools are plentiful as well.
Saw some beautiful Christmas lights that were on two discounts asked the employee (woman) to help me to understand the special deal. Unfortunately, she gave me a cold response. I Requested to talk with the "manager" Hernan. He explained the situation and kindly offered me to an extra discount. Not only did he clarify my confusion but gave me a good deal for the lights. I really found Christmas there.
I had 2 questions about different projects and had 2 employees jump right in and give me the right advice. I love having professionals help me.
We were told this store does not have a military discount and the woman was rude when we asked about it. Couldn't find anyone with even a working knowledge of plumbing to assist us. It was not a good experience.
I don't like this location. After 3 visits to fix the same problem with the cashier being the only helpful one. I had to go to Home Depot where I explained my problem. 1 visit and I was done, problem fixed. Very dissatisfied
Always a favorite. More than a building and hardware and tool store. Great design ideas, great garden ideas, great craft inspiration, great kitchen ideas. The list goes on.
They really suck we paid for a backsplash for our kitchen in May and it’s not installed. Phone calls after phone calls and still waiting it’s now September and nothing. Do not use them for home projects
I don't go there often but when I do I usually end up wandering around trying to find what I need. No one ever offers to help. There are good gualitiy products there at good prices, so I go back.
The husband and I went to purchase a frost free freezer. The price was about what i expected it to be.
I just wish the customer service was better. The CSR assigned to the area was less than happy to be there and the CSR that waited on us obviously was not familiar with the product.
Sorry Lowe's cannot give you five stars on this visit. Perhaps next time.
I usually go to Home Depot but if you do need something that is of a bit higher quality or something that is a bit more rare of a tool or material I go to Lowes. If I'm buying two by fours I'm Going Home Depot
Every Lowe's is pretty much the same; understaffed and overpriced. I wouldn't come here at all if they didn't carry a particular product I need, but even so, I always seem to grab the last gallon of what I need, which makes me nervous because I have to purchase this item about once a month.
I was walking the aisles around the fan area looking up and walked into a low loading platform on wheels and badly hurt my leg. My fault, but it shouldn't have been there. Some staff are great others cant be bothered to help you.
Easier to get arrested than to find a knowledgeable associate without begging for help at the service desk. I will drive to Transit Rd.before I try to spend my money here.
