Marcus Garvey Park reviews
37A nice park but could use some routine garbage pick up. And maybe some officers to monitor the sketchy folks.
Nice place to chill out with whoever. The philharmonic symphony and Harlem theater put a wonderful show on.
Too many crackers trying to takeover a black park. But other than that, it's the best park in Harlem.
Grew up in this neighborhood and all I can say is this is top 5 best parks in New York in my opinion.
Marcus Garvey Park is a great place to be. It is a safe place, but it would be nice to see cops patrolling there once in awhile.
It's a family friendly in the summertime. Close to Barawine restuarant on 120 and Malcom x boulevard, swimming pool is clean, even provide free lunch for the children. Close to Harlem shake burger joint,
My neighborhood park for over 20 years. Its a little rough looking sometimes but has a nice vibe and very well situated. The chess games here are serious so put your pro pants on lol
NICE AND CENTRALLY LOCATED HAS A FULL BATHROOM. A STAGE FOR PERFORMANCES. FREE BOOKS AND A POOL. NOT A BAD DEAL. LIBRARY WITH WI FI ACROSS THE STREET. SWEET.
Great park with a small dog run. Benches are abundant too - generally pretty clean and the dog run is rarely crowded
I saw SWEAT produced by the Public Theater. It was incredible. While I was there, seems to be a good gym in the space and ia a clean facility.
Nice quiet paru with a little place with water and turtles. But also condoms on the floor and seringues. Don't go in the evenings
Always have a good time here especially for the concerts or free movies. Also a great place to take the kids to run around or to play in the playground
Nice! Plenty events going on yearly in the park. Summer Stage Events Harlem Week Great short rails for skaters and rollerbladers.
There's a stage where events are held occasionally. There is a basketball court and an area for smaller kids. There's also a baseball field
This farmer Market is a great place to visit on Saturday on 124th Street at Mt. Morris Park on the outside of Marcus Garvey Park. Check out all vendors every Saturday thru November from 9: 30-4: 30pm.
A beautiful green way for an otherwise drab urban concrete demograph The location is awesome for Manhattan or Queens residents one if the last places where you can actually bring your grill and Cook out And I love the diversity of the neighborhood
Getting better. A beautiful park. Still broken glass in places, lots of people smoking pot. Rundown facilities.
I love going to the. Gym you meet great people and the staff are very friendly. So that being said I really enjoy my days at Marcus Harvey park and gym.
Great neighborhood park. Huge, clean and relatively uncrowded pool, two playgrounds, a little free library for kids and another for adults. Lots of free performances in the ampitheater every summer, including dance, music and theater. Best event is the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival, which brings some of the best jazz artists in the world to Harlem for two days of free performances.
