I recently brought my car in for REAR break pad & rotor replacement, I was told it would cost $350.00, shortly after dropping off my car I was called and told that the calipers needed to be replaced as well. Thinking maybe a xtra couple hundred dollars <Give or Take> I have a newer, well taken care of car. Blown away & discouraged my final fee of over a $1,000.00 for just REPLACEMENT OF BACK 2 break pads, rotors & calipers. For all REAR parts mentioned for my make & model vehicle alone are roughly $350.00 calling auto zone & advanced auto. I was charged $177.00 for labor. So a final fee of around $530 would have been ideal considering. I’m not quite understanding where the charge of 1,020.00 came from? I mean it’s not even all 4 break parts being replaced. I WAS ROBBED CLEARLY that’s why I made it a priority to leave this review. I feel bad for any other people as well as myself who have been taken by this place. Everyone I have spoke to including other MIDAS SHOPS has never heard such a thing and agrees this is UNFAIR. This place is obviously not honest. I was definitely taken advantage of but did what I had to get my car back. My car does run so much better then it did but it was only back REAR PARTS, not rear & front.
OVER CHARGED & EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED.
