34Almost 4 months now and my car is still in the shop. My handler does not return calls, his boss promises to do follow up and never does. My handler has learning difficulties and I admire the company employment ethic, however my patience has run out.
Stay Away, Wrote a commercial auto policy then canceled it after their "Underwriting" Team wanted a slue of documents and changes made to my business name etc. Paid in Full now waiting on a refund. Poor Service and deceptive practices.
I pay 240 dollars each month and now they recharged me more than 400 dollars. When I called them they said now you have to pay that amount I still I don’t know why.
Sharing this review to warn people that get into an accident with someone with this insurance. They will attempt to blame you in any way they can. Even when you provide evidence to the contrary. I was backed into on 12/13/2019 as of the day posting this; 1/29/2020, I am still fighting with them to get my vehicle fixed. Also do not send pictures of he damages to you car through their automated system, it will severely underestimate the damages to your car.my current quote for my car is in the 3k range (freebird body & paint estimate) there system says it 750 in damages.
Hope this helps someone or at least informs them of their malpractices.

I am updating this as it was found I am 0% at fault for the accident and National General had to pay to fix my car. I am currently waiting to receive apology letters and employee's reprimand letters from all the people involved in there blatant and inexcusable lie. After I provided video evidence of the accident. I will update again and attach photos of their letters to this review when i receive them.

I still haven't received my apology letter.
Love Love Love having business with them excellent customersService and the main contact Robert.and always has a good answer and works things out and accommodates my needs.
Adjuster was very unprofessional & inadequate as far as keeping in touch with me to touch bases and inform me of what was going on with my claim.
It is the cheapest insurance you can get. Also, when I went inside at the office in Wilmington, the girl was helpful and very polite. They are a part of Direct Auto.
Haven't even been a customer for a full month. BS, watchdog app was NOT explained to us as mandatory for reduced rates. Im switching to Geico.

The rates we got were much cheaper than our current insurance company for the same coverage. We were very pleased with the service too.
The interviewing agent took time to discuss my insurance needs. I was able to just the coverage and cost I needed on my aged auto.
Covered an imported right-hand drive auto in 30 minutes. Fast, responsive, fair, straightforward. Couldn't be happier.
State Farm had the same information, as well as all my other insurance business, and hasn't been able to do better than to say it would have to be turned over to "underwriting". I asked to be kept informed of progress, and haven't heard a peep in the last week other than a letter wanting me to come in so they could sell me other products. Guess who will have my future business.
I can't stand insurance companies but Richard was pretty cool and really was out to help me not just get my money. Definitely recommend

I was paying $200 a month. I wanted to take it down to liability and they had every excuse why it was not a good idea. Try to Find a company that does not want to suck you dry.
