New York DMV Office Harlem reviews
26Went to attain my non-driver ID card; one of the ladies at the front desk was extremely rude for no good reason. Makes me wonder how jobs at the DMV are given out. However the second person who filled out all the information in order for the process to be done was very kind and did her job very well.
With the new appointment system less ppl inside. But it's hard to get appointment this need some improvement.
Terrible. Unprofessional and no one is helpful. Go to the one near penn station if you want to be in and out quickly
My program at Lifespire Manhattan north was all some we played video games and watched a lot of educational events on our television.
There was one lady.rps who was very rude, and spiteful, but then there were some helpful security and the two other ladies.reps were amazing. I treated all the same and all but the one were amazing. Got things accomplished.
My DMV experience was amazing, I think the appointment system is great because I was able to be seen quickly by a wonderful staff name Priscilla at window 12. My visit was an hour, I'm grateful I didn't spend all day there.
Everyone was extremely slow. And extremely unhelpful. Machines/systems were broken at every step of the permit process. And individuals working there wasted an hour and a half before telling us anything. Overall it was an awful experience.
Super inefficient. Went to get a learner permit with my friend. They kept us waiting for more than an hour after we passed the written test. I don't understand how people survive this slow service daily.
If you have all the documents and go here with low expectations, you ll come out smiling. Took me about 2.5 hrs for license and registration. Very decent.
The service here can be hit or a miss at times depending on what you’re coming for and at what time of day do you arrive. This is one of the busiest department of motor vehicles offices we have in the area. Your time here can last anywhere between 20 minutes to up to two hours. Waiting times are being cut down with the many upgrades and accommodations with Khios now available. They have been trying to prove their service more and more back there’s still room for improvement.
I needed to visit four "stations" for my driver's license renewal. In and out in twenty-five minutes. Everyone I dealt with his friendly and helpful.
The worst service! THE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED!
They don’t even know what documents you need to bring to apply for a state ID.they ask for extra documents, saying that it’s on the website! BS
How’s that could be acceptable? !? !?
I went to the DMV office to renew my license and it was pretty quick, I must say. I was very impressed with how fast the whole experience was. I lasted no more than 30 minutes. I just wished they had more Kiosk machine and actually working.
I think they should all get fired starting from the supervisor on down, then reorganize with new employees that actually have people skills and not being jerkoffs.
Everyone here is so grumpy. Ended up going to midtown dmv and they were so much more pleasant. Also, because of grumpiness and shortness, this location misinformed me of what I needed.
Relax people.
I was trying to transfer my drivers license from another state and Miss Payne (the supervisor here) is really helpful.
I am a handicap man with short funds to travel who track a long way to come to this office yesterday 8/15. The representative assured me that I only needed a form sign by my landlord to complete the process. Today 8/16 she asked me for another piece of information that she never mention before. Make sure they give you a list in writing because this people will change information and you will not get anything accomplish. Extremely poor service.
They are all good staff here and very quick service once u have a number ticket. The only thing is a lot of people from all over Manhattan come here from all kinds DMV issue's and Licences renewals that's what makes a big crowd and u can even fight all ur voliation on traffic tickets here throughout any part of New York City.
Nearly zero efficiency and the management is indeed in a mess. They gave me a ticket and after an hour they told me my number is void.: - (
If I had a second chance, I would have went to 34 street instead of here.
I really regret my choice.
