New York Hilton Midtown reviews
22This hotel and its employees was everything I wished for. All and everything is simply perfect and outstanding. I just liked the relaxed atmosphere in the pool. I had a wonderful time, and I never had a bad meal. It's highly recommended!
The view was scenic from my place. What a charming place to visit! Great amenities and eco-friendly surroundings. I really had a great time in this hotel.
It is a five star NY hotel experience. Staff is friendly. The ambiance is good. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is a joy.
We choose this hotel because we know it has the finest customer service in the hotel! We didn't regret selecting this hotel because we really enjoyed our stay here, and their staff was so welcoming to our needs and requests!
Walls are scuffed and dented, the switches look like they have not been cleaned in years. There is no fridge in the rooms nor is the WiFi free. I was charged $15 a day for their base WiFi. Honestly I would go elsewhere if you have the choice.
The atmosphere at the bar is great, but the drinks are overpriced. Drinks at Madison Square Garden during a game was cheaper!
Great location. Easy access to subway and major attractions. Overpriced parking, but that is standard NYC.
Reasonable price and well placed hotel in NYC. It's at the center of the city and is close everything.
I happened to get a great price of $169 a night. The room would've been tight if it wasn't just me but it was comfortable and clean. Being on the 33rd floor, it was also quiet. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. No room service per se, but their food stand downstairs will bring it up to you.
Despite the great location, this hotel didn't give me a satisfaction. No amenities at all, no coffee or tea nor even glass or cup provided in the room. If you're looking for a busy hotel, this is the place. They have four access in the front, back, left and right of the building, or many more perharps enable people to come and go passing through make this place so crowded and noisy.
Just stayed for one night but enjoyed it. The bed was good and I liked the room size (not huge but more than enough for a business trip when you're not in the room much and the loveseat by the window was a nice touch). The room was clean and the decor relatively fresh (though there were a few dings that really should have been taken care of). Nice bathroom but a tad small).
The standard rooms were alright, nothing special. The view we had was also alright. For the amount of points my friends redeemed, they did not offer the higher end rooms.
I guess I've just never stayed in a fancy enough hotel, but I wasn't expecting my super expensive room to not have a fridge.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Meeting rooms are set up nicely, even the lounge area is great for a social networking.
Sehr schönes Hotel, eines der besten in New York. Service ist freundlich und die Zimmer sind sauber.
Tv didn't work right we were told it would be fixed. The room was very hot even running air, the windows only open inches to cool room. Waited 20 minutes to get downstairs on the elevator. I expected more for a $400 room. I will not be using Hilton anymore.
For $450 a night not even having shower Gel you have to special order not even a coffee machine in the room. A lot of $100 hotels are more generous DO NOT RECOMEND at all. I will Drop my Hilton Honors MEMBERSHIP
SOAP MAKES YOU BREAK OUT IN A RASH!
We are a Big group of People and multiple people in our Group has had irritation issues with the Soap Hilton uses. It's Verbena & Lavender facial and Body soap by Crabtree & Evelyn. I have No Issues with Lavender or Verbena.which makes me think the Soap it's self is just Cheap.
They used to Use a Peter Thomas Roth brand and have replaced it with this other horrible stuff. I am a Hilton Honors member and frequent my Hilton Hotel in Seattle, WA.
I was disappointed when the Night Manager (Brian) had No Other option or solution other then a $15. Fee for them to go buy us a Different kind. We have 47 people in this hotel. At $350.a night a Non-scented soap should be available.
When I called for a manger I was placed on a silent hold and then hung up on. So I called back asked again for a manager. Was told 1 would call me. Big Surprise, I got NO CALL. When I called back and spoke to the Night Manager there was nothing that he wanted to do to rectify the issue. Poor Customer service since we arrived.
I called this hotel on three different occasions just to make sure that I was going to get adjoining rooms for me and my two daughters being told there was not a problem the rooms were set up several times. We would have stayed at another hotel that was honest to make sure we were getting what we wanted. When we arrived I asked why our rooms were so far apart from each other and they told me there's no guarantee basically acted like they just didn't care they did tell me that they would call me the next morning and try to move me never heard back from them so my daughters and I had to go from one side of the hotel to the other to get dressed. When the main manager asked me on Monday morning how is my rooms I explain to him what happened he said I should have called him and he gave me 10,000 points. However when a mother plans a trip with her two daughters they want to be in the rooms together. I will not stay at this hotel again due to dishonesty and lack of care.

Very convenient location for visiting Times Square, Central Park and We even made it up to Columbia University. Very nice first visit to NYC. Stayed in the 32nd floor with a great view of Central Park. While staying at the hotel, we had access to the executive lounge. Nice addition for lite breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres and drinks throughout the day including coffee, tea and soft drinks. There was also beer and wine as well for an additional honors based donation of $5 for beer and $8 for wine. Subway station conveniently located in the same block. Overall, a great stay!
