They are always under staffed and I often question if the kids working there are even old enough to be working the hours they do.portion sizes are always big and they don't skimp on toppings. The girls behind the counter did a great job even with long lines remained calm and pleasant

Would give 0 if I could. I never leave reviews but here I am. I came today, Sunday at around 7 pm. There was no line, nothing. I was standing at the window for a bit, one girl came from the back and took care of me, and was very kind and polite while taking my order.the other two with dark hair didn't seem to be very amused. I got my ice cream and waited about 15 minutes for my food, even though I ordered one thing and was the only person there. The two with darker hair seemed to be the ones preparing the food. I mean I get it was a slow day so I understand, but the food that I received was WAY overcooked and just falling apart. I ended up throwing out the food and wasn't going to bother asking for them to remake it because when the one dark haired girl in the grayish/white handed my food to me with a attitude.very disappointed in the customer service here.used to be one of my favorite places but the the quality of the food i received was definitely not worth the price

Wait time was short. The cashier was friendly.

My daughter ordered a medium hard serve cone. It barely cleared the top of the cone. The picture showed it towering with two tall scoops, it came with half a smashed scoop on the top.

I ordered a hot fudge sundae. It was in an Itty bitty cup. Probably less than 4 tablespoons of ice cream in the bottom. Loads of the fudge syrup though! That, and barely any ice cream is a surprisingly bad combo!

I will probably never visit this establishment again. There are so many other ice cream shops in the area that give you your money's worth.

So really $18 for 1 and a half scoops of ice cream.if that.

Don't waste your money. Their portion sizes are a joke. The large looks like a medium and they don't even fill the swirls to the top. You're better off getting dairy queen

Went specifically for some soft-serve and wasn't disappointed. Keep up with which flavors are available at the location on their Facebook page

Love when they do BOGO hot dogs especially since it's close by to a park. Quick friendly service too

Love the local hard ice cream. Great assortment of flavors! This place really brightens up the corner of Elmwood and Woodward. But, we went today and they were really skimping on the scoop sizes, serving up the smallest ice cream scoops I've ever seen for an ice cream stand. We left feeling very unsatisfied. So much so that, when we got home, we dug through the fridge for additional dessert. We're regulars here, but will be cutting back. Between the cost of the ice cream here and us always leaving a tip, we'll be saving a lot of money if we just buy half-gallons at the grocery store.

The absolute best custard in Western NY. We drive 30 miles from Buffalo to visit this place. How far will you go?

Save your money, Cheeseburgers but no lettuce tomatoes. French fries in bag 2 orders just smashed together one on top of another. 32$ for cafeteria food.condiments were empty ketchup spoiled.teenagers working there couldn't care less.would post pics of able.sad won't be back

I love cherry vanilla ice cream (vanilla ice cream with cherries), but most brands I've tried are actually cherry ice cream or contain hardly any cherries. Charlap's version is a delicious vanilla ice cream packed with cherries. The coconut chocolate almond is outstanding, too.

Even when it's crowded, you won't have to wait very long, because the young people who work here really hustle.

We ordered a banana split and it came with no banana in it.service is not good they are not filling complete orders got my ice cream 10 minutes before my boyfriend got his yet I ordered them at the same time.and when asked about it we were told we make the east stuff first.then fill in the rest

Food always takes a long time to make and is never right. Too many young kids behind the counter. There should b3 atleast 1 responsible adult watching over.

Food is so good, and the staff are so lovely, my daughters favorite ice cream shack, and I love bringing new friends here, keep up the great work!

Great place for ice cream. Outstanding selection of flavors and good, but not too big, portions. My daughter had the turtle sundae and it was amazing.

Wasn't impressed with the flavor taste of the strawberry shortcake hard ice cream. Would like to taste more strawberry. Oh maybe some chunks of graham crackers too.

They had a stand at the Erie County Fair. Their young female employee yelled they only accept cash. No there wasn't a need to raise her voice it wasn't loud where I was standing. No sign displaying desired payment accepted. Simply for holding out my DEBIT card. Never heard of this place before August 20,2021. Next time I want ice cream it won't come from here, nothing special about it anyways.

The staff is very friendly. We have only had the ice cream so but it was so good. My wife got a waffle cone and it looked like a pint or more ice cream in it.

Visiting from out of town and we are glad we came here to get some ice-cream. We both ordered two double scope cones of their "hard ice-cream".
Really enjoyed the Cookies and Cream flavor. They had a lot of flavors to choose from for the hard ice-cream. They did have soft serve and hot food as well. Service was quick and the girl working there was really friendly. They have parking and places to sit around the area. Great experience!
