Nick Charlaps Ice Cream, West Seneca NY

A nice ice cream parlor reminiscent of those from yesteryear. Not quite as expansive a selection as the long defunct Fowler's that used to be down the road a few miles in Cheektowaga, nevertheless the staff are friendly and courteous and the ice cream is definitely above par.

Would stop in again when/if in the area.

Absolutely LOVE this place. The ice cream is delicious. You can tell this is freshly made. Staff at all locations are polite and customer focused. This place has become a part of my families memories.

Last minute chance to get grandsons an after dinner treat. It was 8: 30 on a Sunday night and they were open! Great service, kids were so happy!

Whaaat? How have I never checked this place out before? My grandpa asked me to bring him a "real" hot fudge sundae so I took a chance and tried a new spot, very glad I did. OUTSTANDING products (homemade everything sweet and delicious: ice cream, candy, basically everything awesome) and OUTSTANDING staff & service. My grandpa must have said 100 times how amazing it was. Great job guys! NO PHOTOS IT DIDN'T LAST THAT LONG:)

So great to sit with family and have huge ice cream sundaes and real whipped cream. The service was excellent. Comfortable as everything was sanitized, bright and delicious aroma from the chocolate. YUM.

Ice cream is awesome. Staff however, leaves much to be desired. No greeting, no enthusiasm, no welcoming warmth. Makes us want to go home. Not a good thing for what’s supposed to be our happy place.

I just don't think their ice cream is good. And I really didn't like their hot fudge

If you like ice cream you'll love Charlaps. Their ice cream is delicious! They have tons of hard serve flavors and traditional soft serve, too.

Awesome ice cream shop! Great homemade flavors, some seasonal. Friendly service and good location. Open most of the year with seating inside and outside during the summer. Large selection of chocolates at attached candy counter.

I was looking for a place on a Sunday afternoon. I wanted to get sponge candy for someone. Nick Charlaps was the only place open late. They took over for antoinettes and it hasn't changed much. The ice cream is really good with plenty to choose from. They also still sell antoineetes candy there. I was able to get the sponge candy and ice cream. The people are always friendly and nice.

This ice cream parlor is top shelf all the way, prices are fair and the selections are great. It's like going to an old fashioned ice cream parlor with that old fashioned small town service giving a great value for an American family tradition.

Delicious ice cream with unique flavors and pleasant staff. Nick Charlaps actually makes their own ice cream right here in WNY! The bourbon pecan ice cream was amazing. My wife loves the orange chocolate. The scoops are a tad pricey but it's worth it for unique flavors you won't find anywhere else.

Very friendly staff, the place was very clean.and the oldies songs playing were a nice touch.

2nd time having the orange chocolate ice cream, but this time didn't really taste any orange.
