One Girl Cookies reviews
13Just moved to Brooklyn. First time trying today. I’m supposed to be going on a diet. Not sure how that is going to be possible because that pumpkin Whoopie pie? ! Will definitely be back tomorrow, and the day after.
Absolutely obsessed with this place. I highly recommend their cakes, even if they do have cookies in their name! Their chocolate Bundt cake is the perfect amount of fudge-y goodness while not being overly sweet. The yellow cake with chocolate frosting is also delicious. I love that everything here is freshly baked and you know it hasn’t been sitting for days. The service is always wonderful and welcoming. Stop in for freshly baked goodness!
Oooohhhhhh my god! Shoutout to the bakers, I am literally eating heaven! My first time trying their pastries, cookies and cake. The vanilla raspberry cake with coconut icing is beyond this world. I have to say they won me over, and I will definitely be going back.
They were also so polite in letting me into the store after service hours because I wanted a slice of cake:) Amazing customer service, and the baked goods are delicious. I never write reviews, but they honestly deserved it. A must try!
Love this place! The cookies, the treats, the drinks, & the vibes are ON POINT. Most importantly the people are wonderful. Welcoming, thoughtful and kind. Especially love seeing Alex’s smiling… eyes! On. Thankful to have this gem in our neighborhood ️ thanks for all you do to add some magic to our lives.
Pricey, but completely worth it! Great products with high quality ingredients.and the carrot cake will change your life!
Bought my friend an absolutely delicious + well-priced last-minute cake here last week.i really doubt they make a bad one! Definitely choose one girl over mia's across the street
Not much variety in terms of what I think of when I hear the word, cookies. Note they had tea cookies. Otherwise, the cafe mostly had small baked goods, e g.whoopie pies, lemon squares, cakes, etc.which were tasty. Space is quaint and the coffee is good.
A muffin that remains 50% stuck on the paper (as in the photo) is not acceptable! Plus it was almost raw! I'm sorry but pastry is another thing!
Lovely spot, good coffee and lattes, quality pastries and food, good seating for working on a laptop. A suitable alternative to Stumptown. Not many power outlets tho.
I stopped in here one morning and tried a few of the small tea cookies & got a hot tea to go. They’re expensive, but the cookies were great! They’re very rich and pair well with a hot beverage. The place was quiet and had a very calm atmosphere with a little bit of seating. There were a number of people working on laptops.
We travelled from way uptown Manhattan back to this place this weekend. We had stumbled into this place on a whim years ago and remembered loving their offerings and our return visit did not disappoint. Our health app indicated we had walked 7 miles already and felt compelled to reward ourselves with the spikey cupcakes and whoopee pies.
I don't know how they do it, but the cake part of the cupcake has the perfect texture. It is soooo pillow-y.firm but soft. What I really like is that the cake and frosting are not overly sweet (just right!) and you don't feel like a sugar bomb just exploded inside you. The whoopee pies are the same. Just the right amount of sweetness and it is soft yet firm. It just dissolves so delicately in your mouth. Coffee offered was nice and a perfect compliment. We sat the bar and the guy helping us was so chill and friendly. Thanks One Girl! We will be back!
Yummy! Ice coffee with frozen coffee cubes so that your drinks downs get diluted is brilliance. Not sure why more place don't do this. You must get the Lucia when they are available. Cakes and cupcakes are also delicious.
Really terrific cookies and cute little shop. I got these through a join venture with Manhattan Fruitier and then hunted them down they were so tasty. Great to have with tea, and very warm staff.
