Phở Hoài reviews
31Love this place! So unusual and delicious! My favorite is BBQ beef summer roll! With peanut creamy souse.mmmm and the price is so friendly!
They unreasonably refused to deliver food to an address that was 9 minute driving distance away
Placed a large order for delivery, but the restaurant forgot one of the orders. I called the restaurant so they can send it, but they denied it and hung up the phone. On my third attempt, they acknowledged their mistake, but refused to deliver the missing item. No bueno! It took arguing and screaming to have him deliver
Horrible service and rude staff
We order a big order of over 80 dollars and have a hard time to deliver a missing item!
Delicious food and not high price. My favorite place in this area. If you come here try N 93 beef cubes.
Real Arrogant, unfriendly, they act like they doing you a favor, and I won't say what, but in the kitchen they have been known to drop a spitbomb in your food if you dare say something not right. DONT EVER ORDER TO GO, THEIR PORTIONS ARE 1/2 OF WHAT YOU GET IN PLACE. This Is a changed review because their food is good, but, I promise you they cannot be trusted. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK
One of the better of many Vietnamese restaurants on this side of Brooklyn. Delicious, huge soups with characteristically Vietnamese flavor.
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in NYC. Take their shrimp salad - it's made to order, so, unlike some other places, it's crispy and isn't soaked in the dressing. Great summer rolls, grilled chicken, beef noodle soup. What you would normally expect at a good Vietnamese restaurant, only made a little better.
This place used to taste much better, now I just leave with stomachache. It is not as clean as you would want the place to be and sometimes the tables feel even sticky and dirty. They make the food fairly quickly though and bring it out fast. Sometimes there is a weird smell inside but I cannot tell if its the food or the place itself. The food is alright nothing special honestly, there are better places than this. It is not bad I guess if you are hungry and it is late.
The food is delicious the staff are less than the food, our server sneezed into his hand repeatedly, and brought metal forks and spoons with that same hand.
The food is incredible, the most delicious thing you will have in your mouth.
Pho spot I use to go too before pho 60 opened closer to me. Food is good also no frills place to eat
"Canh Chua Ca" hot and sour salmon soup and "Muc Chien Don" crispy squid with garlic sauce is life! The soup is HUGE and absolutely delicious. The squid is crispy and comes with this tomato-like sauce on the side, can never get enough.service is ok, but nobody comes here for great service, just amazing Vietnamese food.
Seriously, hands down, some of the best Pho I've ever had the pleasure to eat. The menu is extensive, service is efficient, good is excellent. This is a neighborhood gem!
I have been here several times and every time the food is good. Whether is the Pho, the appetizers or the rice and noodle dishes. It’s all been delicious. Service is quick. They’re no friendly but they are professional. They always serve a jasmine tea and the portions are big enough to share.
If you haven't jumped on the pho soup bandwagon yet.it's time. Come in here and order a brisket soup I promise you won't regret it.
We are never disappointed with the food here. The Pho was amazing, perfect for a chilly night. And the prices are great too. Where can you get dinner for two under $30.
Awesome Vietnamese food for an affordable price. Item #1 Pho is the best! Spring rolls are delicious and the service is really friendly. There are booster seats for little ones but no high chairs, so not a good place for children under 2. I've been coming here for the past 6 years and it's always a great comfort food spot.
Bad customer service, left with no tip because the food was thrown at my table. They have the audacity to run after me for tip. Not to mention that their signature pho soup dish was absolutely garbage. Did not taste fresh. Maybe I don't know what pho soup suppose to taste like, but this one had no broth flavor at all. Bugs flying around. I'm just disgusted.
I've been coming here for over 21 years - it's the best Pho around. My go to order is the number 1 big bowl. All the menu items are amazing over the years i've probably tried them all. If you want to eat amazing vietnamese food - you should definitely give this place a try. I look forward to eating here another 20 years and more.
Terrible service in person and over the phone. Waiters are rude and obnoxious. Don’t get orders right. Crazy wait times for even the simplest of things when the store isn’t even busy. I recommend not coming here at all. Safer bet is going to the Vietnam place on east 13th
