Pleasant Valley Inn reviews
26Amazing location close to some fantastic vineyards. Hospitality was top notch and made us feel safe with their practices during COVID-19. Quiet and peaceful location to relax. Heard amazing things about the dinner on weekends from locals, can't wait to come back.
My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon along the Finger Lakes. It was perfect! The porch and views were gorgeous, the location is very convenient to some amazing Vineyards and a beautiful woodsy walking trail, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was very romantic! We also felt extremely comfortable with how clean the room and dining area were during COVID. The owner and innkeeper were extremely friendly, service was fabulous. We both highly recommend and can't wait to return!
Very nice place to stay! Close to keyuka lake. Breakfast was included in the stay. It is a continental breakfast. The orange juice is fresh and tasty! They had an awesome breakfast - waffles especially were very good!
Jennifer the hostess made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a good stay! The rooms are very clean and there only 4 rooms so not too crowded. The bathrooms were attached in the room.
The inn is 1 hour from Ithava and 30 mins from watkins glen. There are some very good restaurants near the inn on the lake. The seneca farm dairy especially has really goos icecream which is almost 30 mins from the inn.
Overall very good place to stay. A bit on the expensive side considwring the location but i guess all the hotels over here are more or less at the same rate. Will recommend for someone who is looking for a quick stay. Some good wineries near by. You wi also find pick your own farms close to the inn
Wonderful food and staff was pretty wonderful, salmon appetizer and beef wellington were highlights of the night, chocolate torte and keylime pie were both amazing! Shrimp cocktail left a bit to be desired (crab was lacking, cocktail sauce wasn't impressive and I expected a couple more shrimp for the price) but otherwise a wonderful experience.
From beginning to end, the perfect experience. Jen was the absolute best and made us feel so welcome. We will be back!
Great Dinner and you have to try the Dennis with fever drink.
Its Belividere on the rocks with a splash of Fever tree tonic and a squeeze of lime.
There is also the Dennis with no fever
And that is Belivedier straight up extra dry with the shaken ice on the side.
Great food and Great drinks.
Favorite place around Hammondsport, excellent meals with friendly, efficient staff. High end food at a high end price.
Great place to stay and eat while visiting the area. Innkeeper goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable.
The lamb shank was incredible. The carrots and fresh herbs and kale were a great choice. Kudos to the chefs. The service was wonderful. Jessica could not have been better.
The employees are very friendly and the food is delicious. Expensive, but well worth it. I recommend the smoked salmon 100%.
I have never been even slightly disappointed at the PV Inn. The food is ridiculously good. The staff is warm and friendly. They understand the concept of hospitality. I have recommended them to everyone who has a chance to try this place. We love it!
Excellent food and lovely atmosphere. Service was very good; friendly and timely. We will be back even though we are from western NY.
My girlfriend and I found this place looking online and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff were wonderful and the food was exquisite.my girlfriend ordered the full rack of Lamb entrée and I the crab pasta. The lamb was just out of the world. It was cooked to perfection, medium rare. And the potatoes that came with were delicious too.
Excellent! Fish chowder was exquisite. The addition of smoked salmon to it was amazing. The goat cheese stuffed pepper appetizer and garlic shrimp were great. Unfortunately to full for desert. Highly recommend. Truly fine dining.
Best overall fine dining in the area. Wine is a bit overpriced.but the service is very well done
I enjoy food. The other 8 women in my group knew that I was thoroughly enjoying the Chicken Milan. They were all pleased with their meals as well.
Our server was both professional, as this is a fine dining experience, and friendly.
My portion of the bill did not include a drink or dessert. With tip, I paid $38. My budget demands saving my next visit for a very special occasion.
As the limo driver, I dropped off clients for their dinner and then went to Kwik Fill up the road for a turkey sub, bag of chips and bottle of water. Had me a picnic on the hood! Came back afterwards to wait for my clients. Good times!
My family and I love dining at Pleasant Valley Inn. The new ownership & management have created a lovely atmosphere with excellent food & service. The food and wine menus always have a wide assortment of options to choose from. The homemade carrot cake is also delicious!
I would give zero stars if it was an option. The worst Easter meal i have ever had. 4 people was over $180 with tip. What a joke.
We got dinner as a family at the restaurant and the food was absolutely incredible. Will be making return trips - highly recommend.
