Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen reviews
27 Orders are rarely wrong but it takes forever to get anything! I'm not sure how many times I have goneby now but every time has been full and slow moving. There's normally no tables and for some reason no matter how many people are working they move a bit slowly. In total it might take 20 minutes to put in your order get your food and get out of the store.
Update:
The place is almost completely gone to hell. I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to pick up an order that my roommate made on Uber Eats. They already have a section of the line where you can go to pick up orders. This is to make it easier for Uber drivers and anyone else like doordash you were picking up their orders. Not only was there a problem with someone giving the wrong change, but in general the food was coming out slow
Can’t complain much about this place besides the sometimes long wait times on the lines, lack of condiments provided from the jump (without having to ask), and the sometimes unruly customers coming in and out. Been coming here my entire life and it’s just a great chicken spot lol
It seems they always make a mistake on my order at this location. This time they gave me rice instead of the Cajun fries I specifically ordered as one of my sides.
It was in evening & I wanted to get quick dinner. Staff was friendly & fast service. Also I love their coleslaw!
I have not had Popeyes in Lord knows how long, but this was an interesting experience. This Popeyes sees A LOT of activity (that's not their "fault" really) and some of it is pretty entertaining.
What wasn't cool though was the biscuit I got that had mold on it. It made me hesitant to eat the rest of the meal. I hope they better inspect their food and hopefully keep grape jelly in stock for future customers-I don't really care for strawberry.
It’s good food! It’s a nice change because there’s not really any food like it over here. I had the chicken sandwich, Cajun fries and the spicy chicken strips and there all pretty delicious. But when I ordered I needed 5 chicken sandwiches and 1 of them to be plain (for me in my friends) but instead we got 4 chicken sandwiches with all of them being plain, no sauce no pickles. I understand that they just opened but I wish the staff with more experienced or at least had a bit more breathing room because ever sense it opened it’s been packed. Overall really good though, if you want a change from McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s and five guys, this is a pretty good choice.
A family favorite restaurant, I applaud the employees at this restaurant for the stress that they endure every single day. Great food oh, you can't go wrong!
To much panhandling outside. Otherwise it's just your ordinary everyday run of the mill fast food restaurant.
It was empty today, seem to be a little confusing with the line. Manager was on & ready for orders. One cashier was little rude to the customer. Actually threw her bag if food onto the counter, which was detected by the customer. Place could be cleaner also
Incredible! They charged me $11 for just one combo that I ordered. I would think more than twice before spending my money at this place. I felt like I was robbed by the cashier who took my order!
Everybody loves the chicken and Popeyes on W 125 Street got it right. W 116 Street is MORE expensive and the DON'T generally have the
Specials we see on tv the management is stiff. The have the friendly attitude that we're serving chicken to Black people attitude.
Location is walkable but line is so long. Walking from 124 to 125 it's ok but on the side walk it's so crowded you have to be lucky to find a parking spot the food is good if you go good luck
The part where I ordered was fine, but the customers were such a mess. I was glad I got everything within 20 minutes and was able to leave.
My late night temptation. Too salty but after a few drinks, I never notice. They rarely get my order right and still I'm drawn to this place by the smell. Normally i walk on the opposite side of the street to avoid giving in.
The best Chicken nice in Crispy love the slaw And the mash potatoes 125th street has one but is very crowded then is on a 116 Lenox Avenue That 1 is also crowd me specially when they have sales may move pretty quick both places
This location has really good chicken and the pieces are usually big. They're not too stingy like other popeyes. However, everytime I go there's someone ratchet arguing with the cashier.
Food and service is decent. Usually crowded when they have specials. Bathroom is usually pretty gross though.
Customer Service is horrible and extremely slow! The restaurant always dirty and I don't even visit often.guys preparing food eating. I just will not ever go back here
The worst. Always told if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Need it to wash my hands before I eat, was told bathroom was broke.no sympathy.people inside asking for money, like if they had a license to do it inside;a men that looks like a security guard didn't bother him;he seems like he was in vacation, just sitting and laughing.employees very cheap handing me wyepees to clean my hands;didn't want it give me more than one.
