Sheraton Tribeca New York Hotel reviews
23 Location was great, staff were very friendly & helpful, and elite express check-in line was a big plus. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but it was not sound proof and the the door slamming sounds of other rooms and the ice machine noise could be heard during the late hours. The breakfast was great and the staff were excellent. The Gym machines were LifeFitness Signature Series multi-adjustable bench, dual adjustable pulley, treadmills, ellipticals, one bike, and they worked with your iPhones LFconnect app (nice!).
The club floor room was good and the club lounge in the 21st floor was nice! The observatory was really the gem and I enjoyed the Hudson river view, city skyline views, the staff, the services, the hors d'oeuvres and the drinks very much. Please note that only bigger size room has refrigerator.
Hotel Security could be boosted for the guesses & employees, although hotel had a doorman in the front entrance watching who was in and out, but you still needed to be vigilant and watched out who followed you into the elevator as a precaution. Don’t just assume the person was the guest of hotel and had the hotel card key.
This hotel lost two stars because of a small wardrobe and lack of a bar fridge in the room. It’s possible I didn’t have a fridge because of the type of room I was in, but then again, even guest houses have fridges in every room these days.
On the other hand, the place makes for a nice and cosy stay. I was there for two full days. The business lounge is a winner. Hotel is positioned well near subway entry/exit and very close to the New York Law School, Dunkin’ Donuts, some food joints, clothing stores and CHINA TOWN!
