Sophistique Beauty Salon by Ivan Shatrov, Brooklyn NY

I love what they do! Ivan is outstanding stylist. I cheated on him once and regretted till I came back to fix what was done in other place. Dina for makeup is highly recommended. Those who complain about prices - you haven't been to other upscale places. Sophistique prices are very moderate.

75 dollars for a trim? Are they out of their minds? ! Just came back from a salon, had a trim and a blow out for 15 dollars. Everyone on here raving about this salon probably has money to waste.

I came in with a hair disaster on my head! I had highlights done at a different salon - long story short - they looked HORRIBLE and I was in desperate need of help.

I came into this salon and was greeted with a lovely receptionist that offered me a coffee and made me feel welcome.

Then I met Alex (my hair dresser), who managed to restore my hair in just 2 hours! He was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great salon! Best masters! It would probably be cheaper to go somewhere else, but you'll never get quality like this anywhere else, hands down.

I was referred by a friend who has had a great experience and still comes here and loves the place. Unfortunately my experience wasn't so great. My stylist's name was Anton and he really messed up my hair. DO NOT let him touch your hair! I might come back but would never sit in his chair.

Dina for makeup is a miracle worker! Very sweet and very talented. She did my 65 year old mothers makeup and made my mom look 40. Everyone else in the salon is also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

In this salon a great atmosphere and everything is very seductive! Antonio did an excellent job. I am very satisfied with my hair.

Been getting my hair done with Ivan for years! He has hands of gold! They have a fabulous staff that are always willing to accommodate any hair needs. Also highly recommend Kristina or Maria for nails, you won’t regret it!

The professionalism, hospitality and atmosphere is unmatched compared to any other place I’ve been to, from Europe to America.
I don’t mind traveling all the way to Brooklyn from Queens, I actually look forward to it because I know how good I will feel after leaving this salon. I’ve been doing it now since this place opened and will continue to do so for a very long time!
After 6 months of not getting my hair done, because I was pregnant, this “me time” as a new mother was exactly what I needed to get myself to feel better about myself after going through so many physical changes that comes with child birth.
I am so thankful for Ivan and his amazing staff for helping me feel beautiful, sensual and as me again after this amazing transformation. The pictures I added speak for them self, Ivan is an amazingly talented hair artist.

I absolutely love this place! The stuff is very professional and nice. The environment is awesome! I'm going to this salon about a year once a month. I never left this place disappointed. Every time I go there I have fun! I'm getting a lot of compliments about my hair. Any technician or a stylist will be working with you be sure you will love the results!
