Cable Company Spectrum reviews
28Horrifying service. Slow internet. High prices. They’re incompetent. Can’t fix your problems without dozens of visits but the crazy service guy will tell you about the ghost in your kitchen.
I just wish they never had taken off the free arcade games on tv. Y'all also a scramble game that was very fun to play with.
Was given the wrong information about the apparatuses I was to install, but can you expect.until Optimum gets out to NYC we are stuck.
Be careful: after 1 year they raise your bill. If you sign up with them you get a decent price, after 1 year they raise the prices -without notifying-. First I paid $56 and now they charge me $75. There are two ways to complain: by chat and phone. Don't use the chat, you will be hours on the chat with a foreign country which pretend they don't understand you and give you standard answers. Just CALL them. Not that it helps.
Walk in mid-afternoon on a monday. There are at least 30 people waiting. Expect to wait AT LEAST 20 minutes just to get up to a customer service desk. Never again. I can't wait to cancel my crappy service.
Spectrum charges $65 monthly for basic home internet service. Shameful, especially for those who live in an apartment building only serviced by Spectrum.
Beautiful, gorgeous store with the most knowledgeable and helpful staff. The store is massive, I don't even think I made it to the back of the store. As soon as you walk in the entrance you are greeted by a kind cheerful staff member that will put your name on a digital waiting list (there are multiple TV screens in the store, so that you can see how many people are in front of you). In the store they have multiple charging stations for your Android or iPhone devices. There are also a plethora of comfy chairs to sit in while you wait. While you wait you can watch TV or browse the store. The experience can't be beat, specially for a cable/internet store. Just FYI, Spectrum now offers a streaming package.
After becoming Spectrum, they hiked price at least twice last year. The price keeps rising in the beginning of this year. However, the quality is poor! How much you pay is not equal to what kind of service you have! The internet speed sometimes is very slow, you even couldn't get on the internet. The only cable channel available is NY1, the rest are some TV channels that normally you can receive them for free. The customer service is getting worse. It seems that they don't care about you are a long term customer who always pay your bill on time. All they want is your money as much as they can make! Greedy!
