Sweet Dreams Organic Ice Cream, Woodstock NY

Their vegan chocolate hazelnut, and vegan pistachio ice creams were delicious! We appreciate that they offer vegan options, and that they’re actually open in the winter. Several other places were listed as open but definitely weren’t. We’ll be stopping back next time we’re in the area.

We were appealed by the great reviews of Sweet Dream Organic Ice Cream when we were craving for ice cream in the neighborhood.

There wasn’t a great variety of flavors and we got Cookie n Cream & Pistachio in a small cup. It’s pretty decent, rich and creamy, especially the pistachio.

Closed early, arrived at 7: 45 with kids. Told sorry we closed early. Never coming here again!

Average ice crème. Slightly away from main downtown. Next to Woodstock town hall. Half of the ice crème was sold out. We really wanted to try key lime or pistachio ice cream. No need to go back.

I had maple ice cream and it was delicious. A person who works in the store is so amazing and gave me such helpful advice. Best ice-cream I had in a while

Not usually an ice cream eater, but I have to say, when I stole a taste of my family member’s vanilla cone, it was one of the best I’ve ever had! (Wound up eating half of it)

The absolute best pistachio ice cream I've ever had in my life - and it's vegan! The owner is also very kind and clearly knows his stuff about ice cream. My only "regret" is that I've now officially ruined pistachio ice cream for myself because I'll never find pistachio ice cream this good anywhere else!

I was amazed by the cashew cream pistachio and my husband loved the Mexican chocolate chip. A really adorable business with a great high quality product. A must visit when in the area!

Jeff, the owner was so welcoming and kind! We finished a long hike and just wanted something sweet to end our adventure for the day. I had a scoop of Banana Cream pie on top of vegan chocolate hazelnut in a sugar cone! (Thanks for the knowledge too Jeff, I thought it was a waffle cone! Haha) we had a GIANT chocolate chip cookie, big enough to split between 3 adults. The vegan pistachio wouldve been my third scoop option. All of the flavors we tried were absolutely delicious. We will make it a ritual to come have some scoops after our hikes from now on. Thanks for being great! Yum

This guy is a legend! Very good ice-cream, super informative and told some great stories. Definitely a key location to visit when going to Woodstock.

We had banana cream pie ice cream and it was delicious! This shop has a very conventional selection of flavors.

Mmm delicious ice cream around, our place to go every weekend, Mexican chocolate and strawberry sorbet are delightful.

Shame that such good ice cream is served by such unwelcoming and rude people. Sure, we got there with three excited toddlers who took a minute to pick their flavors. You'd expect an ice cream shop attendant to show some patience and understanding to this kind of situation. But no, none of that at Sweet Dreams. The guy was explicit that we were a nuisance to him and that we were wasting his time. One more detail I should mention: we are a mixed-race family, and whenever such an incident happens with us, we can't help wondering if it has anything to do with race. We'll never know if that was the case today at Sweet Dreams. Though, at the very best, this leaves us with an ill-mannered grinch, impervious to the excitement that his own ice cream might spur with kiddos.

I love this place. The pistachio is Amazing. I had to ask about it and it turns out its made at a farm nearby. Best ice cream in the area by far. And the fellow who runs it couldnt be sweeter.

Very little ice cream parlor, just a bunch of flavors but all tasty. And friendly staff: a bit on the expensive side, hence the 4 stars. Definitely going back for the cappuccino!
