The Ice Cream Chick, Huntington NY

Have been here several times now and their ice cream is consistently good. They have a great selection of flavors and anyone I have ever tried has been delicious. The girl behind the counter has always been friendly and helpful and gave us free samples of a few things on our last visit. I can’t help but think some of these negative reviews are from a competing local place because they don’t represent what I have experienced. I would recommend it!

Absolutely not worth the money. A bag of licorice (see photos) 6.99 for 3 large pieces stuffed into a small bag. Not what was advertised. Completely ignored my order needs/comments. I ordered the Large Sundae (see photo) 14.00 I chose birthday cake and Nutella. You can't take the Nutella. Packaging was more of a medium size, no cake pieces as advertised.
Carvel does a better job and they actually listen to what you want on your order and cheaper! DONT BOTHER UNLESS YOU WANT TO FLUSH YOUR MONEY DOWN THE TOILET

Good ice cream shop, but unusual in that this was the only time any ice cream store limited tasting to one ice cream flavor. This policy raises the question of what you do if you don't like the one flavor you tasted. I took a chance on another, untasted, flavor. It was good, but honestly I'm not sure I'll return. They give the impression they distrust the intention of their customers.

Don’t order ice cream from here, it’s a complete rip off. They charged me $25+ dollars for the smallest sundae I’ve ever seen. Not worth the money at all. Use carvel or someone else.

This was my first time ordering. I ordered two of the same items and she only had one. She tried to call me to see if I wanted a replacement but couldn’t get me on the phone. She was nice enough to leave me a messages explaining the issue, sending a good treat and not charging for the treat she didn’t have. Everything was yummy. Will go back!

Came here for the first time with my kids and certainly will be my last. I can almost guarantee they will be going out of business soon. The ice cream was ok but the attitude I received for the amount of money I spent there is absolutely ridiculous. Just for one example I asked for a knife or something to help cut the enormous chipwhich sandwich for my little one and I was just dismissed with a firm no. First impression is everything and I am truly disgusted. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!

Don’t understand the negativity around this place. Went for the first time today. Place was clean, service was super friendly, and the ice cream was awesome. Can’t wait to go back and try different flavors.

I really miss herralls.much better service than this place.way too busy inside, more like a candy parlor than an ice cream store.you can barely walk around without running or hitting your head on something.i only get one thing, mud pie ice cream.seems to be the same recipe as herralls, but again, service is completely horrible.i walked in one day, and nobody was at the front.i noticed someone in the back of the store on their phone.i shouldn’t have to stand around waiting for over five minutes to be noticed.i shouldn’t have to announce myself when i walk inside to get some ice cream.it’s also way too expensive.very unfortunate.

I ordered a pistachio milkshake and I took a sip of it and a piece of plastic came up my straw. I took another couple of sips and another piece of plastic came up so I decided I wouldn’t drink the rest (obviously). I dumped it out when I got home and sure enough it looks like a plastic spoon was literally blended into my milkshake. Given that the milkshake was $12 and no one orders food expecting to ingest plastic, I would advise anyone and everyone to go somewhere else for their dessert. HORRIBLE.

Ice cream was mediocre at best, prices were high but the real reason I’m leaving a review was the service. We got served by whom I believe was the manager/owner and felt like we were a burden being a paying customer. It was like she was doing us a favor by letting us spend $50 on her ice cream. We won’t return.

The ice cream is solid, I felt it was a bit pricey for what you get. Oddly though, the rating was more about the service. There was a family of maybe 6 ahead of only me and they were tasting flavors which is fine, but instead of the lady asking them to step aside if they wanted to continue trying flavors, they just stood there for practically 40 days and 40 nights. I thought asking them to step aside even if just to ask me "are you ready to order" would have worked for everyone. The store is well-designed and very attractive but again, the prices just seem a tad over the top.

Overpriced, rude service, and the ice cream was meh at best.
Ice cream for a family of 4 and it was $45.say whaaaa? Plus the 2 women working there had attitudes like they were doing you a favor by taking your order. Oh, and if you run groupons for your business you might want to actually accept them when a customer tries to redeem one.not a good look for your business!

This place is the BEST. Their ice cream is truly some of the best on Long Island. Their are loaded with flavor, unique and addicting. Anyone who doesn’t see the magic of The Ice Cream Chick is dilusional.

$11 for a cone and single scoop of vegan is way too much money. Pistachio vegan ice cream was flavorless. I had to throw it out
