The Lexington Hotel, Autograph Collection reviews
27We stayed here in June for 4 nights. The hotel was fab. Althoug we were all disappointed on checkout, to see we had been charged an extra 25 dollars a night per room, for staying near Times square. We obviously were not aware, of any short cuts to Time square. We must have gone the long way, and around the blocks a few times. Please be aware of extra taxes when booking.
The Lexington Hotel is a great choice if you absolutely must stay in the city. The hotel has history and charm above a similar chain brand hotel, but the quality was the same as those chains brands. The rooms are smaller (space is a premium in Midtown) but everything was clean and comfortable. Staff and concierge are very approachable and ready to help, and the valet for parking was quick.
Great place to stay. Centrally located, clean comfortable rooms, continental breakfast, friendly helpful staff, nice bar to chat with friends and other guests.
Cozy room but only a very small window in the sitting area leaving the room to feel a bit claustrophobic. Arrived late at night without a very warm welcome from staff. I've never been to New York, so maybe that is normal. I would have greatly appreciated a kind face though after a long flight and arriving in the middle of the night.
The hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable. As per most NYC hotels, I found the room to be small, but comfortable.
The bag check was an issue. Our train didn’t leave until 8, and the hotel insisted that we pick them up from the bell desk by 3 pm. It isn’t much fun to drag luggage around NYC.
The breakfast, that is complementary for elite Marriott members, was underwhelming. The coffee was great, but the selection left something to be desired.
The rooms are extremely small and the beds are extremely hard. Checked out immediately after checking in. Will not be back.
