Never go here if you want to live. My mom went here to get treated for leukemia. During the treatments she was somehow infected with covid-19. As a result, she died a week later. This place is extremely dirty and infectious. Never ever go to this hospital if you care about your life or your loved one's lives.

Happy Spring 20 21

Mount Sinai Hospital located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NYC is 1 of the best hospitals in the country.

The hospital itself is a huge complex above and underground. The hospital's underground maze is quite overwhelming, and one would require assistance from the staff to navigate it. The Hospital's location is psychically between East 96th Street to East 102nd Streeet to off 5th and Madison Aveune, the underground maze runs identical to the structures above ground.

Mount Sinai Hospital's lobby is fashioned after some of the finest hotels in the world's lobby.
Warm and cozy, inviting and friendly and pleasant. The staff is caring and concerned, and I recommend them and the hospital highly.

I wish they would accommodate my needs because I eventually needed to have a procedure in this hospital. The doctor's office just canceled my appointment without checking anything prior.

My 1 year old nephew was brought here due to acute liver failure. Erica and the entire staff were absolutely amazing and so quick to test some members of the family. My mom, his grandmother, was a match to be a live donor & everything went absolutely perfect! We can’t thank them enough for all they did to help save my nephew.

This is the WORST doctor facility experience I have ever had in NYC. I do NOT recommend using any services here unless you can afford a $350 facility fee not covered by insurance. When I called with a question on my bill customer service was UNHELPFUL and RUDE. I wish it was possible to leave a negative number on a review.

This Emergency Room Department is the worse place to ever be a patient at or to bring a patient to. Was brought in by ambulance and 3hrs later not one doctor has come to see the patient. This is disgusting and this hospital should not be a magnet hospital

I met three nurses that actually helped my mom. Thank you for helping my mom through this tough journey, with a kind heart and passion for helping people.

Unfortunately I can’t say that for all of the nurses and doctors that was treating my mom.

My mother was admitted again 12/22/20 due to side effects of chemotherapy. While she was admitted she was put into another room with a patient that allowed her family members to use the same bathroom within my mother room. First my mother is not suppose to be in the room with anyone because she has a low immune system. She had blood work done which was fine until she was admitted. Now she caught a stomach infection called difficile or C.diff due to this hospital negligence of not properly cleaning the room/ bathroom. I reported this hospital because of the fact they are trying to hide this! It’s not just diarrhea!

If anything happens to my mother y’all would be held liable!
I always came to visit her while she was in the hospital, I had to clean everything because her room was always dirty. On top my mother tried to clean the room herself by using disinfected wipes and the nurse told her she can’t use it because it’s shortage in the hospital. My problem is one my mother shouldn’t have to disinfect a room if y’all would just clean it! Second why is that nurse touching my mother things by her personal property? Regardless if it’s the hospital it’s not my mother fault that the supplies are low.

They left the other patient urine on the toilet. To make things worst the room she was in had stains of blood on the curtains. This would likely make things worse! I contact the CDC and health department thank God they came to clean the room! This is insane! Now my mother is on a strong antibiotic for this infection. Ridiculous!

I have been waiting for 2 weeks and a half for my doctor to call me about my lab results and every time I call the rep tells me she will
Contact me with 24 hrs. It has been literally going on a week since they have told me this and I have a thyroid issue that needs to be addressed. The rep offered an appt.for tomorrow but refused to call the medical transportation for me since I can not book a ride myself because one can only do so if it after 3 days, not the next other wise the hospital is the one who can make that happen but again they refused. Now I am dealing with pain, unbearable heat throughout my body, can barely eat and my eyes burn and do you think they care when I told them? NO. But I bet if I had a bill to pay they would be quick to call me.

My wife had surgery scheduled for 8 AM this morning arrived at 6 AM at Mount Sinai in Manhattan, they didn’t start surgery until 10 AM, it is now 830pm at night and she still does not have a room. The surgery scheduled required a minimum of two nights. How do they not have a room for a scheduled surgery requiring two nights stay? They also tried to sell me a private room when we checked in I would hate to think that private room is sitting empty while my wife is in recovery for seven hours. Terrible Managment No Excuse. I think she has been through enough!

I was there for an hour and a half had to go to the streets to go and find some drugs to help with the pain. I saw a lady who was bleeding from her feet and the staff wasn’t doing anything. I’m just gonna call 911 5 minutes before I feel like I’m dying. Hopefully they take care of me then

Terrible nasty doctors and nurses who have no compassion nor bedside manner. Very GHETTO rude employees, especially at the Emergency Department.

Mt. Sinai Emergency Room is an excellent hospital in general. So good that everyone comes here when they are sick which makes for a long long wait to be taken care of.

I was treated better in a combat zone.
I had to argue my way through a metal detector to get triaged. Maybe the god damn police should do their job here so that people can get treated before going through the metal detector at the door of the er at a hospital holding me from my right to life with chest pains shortness of breath and the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my mouth. God bless America
