The Scoop reviews
18Love love love The Scoop! I had gotten sick and I am diabetic but, that didn't stop me lol I went for a large double chocolate milkshake and OMG AMAZING as usual! Hit the spot and I split it with my husband who apparently didn't mind if he got what I had lol cudos to you everyone who works there, especially in these harsh winter months!
We ordered peanut butter sundaes and they were quite skimpy. All ice cream and nuts, barely any peanut butter. They just weren't good!
The one girl is just pure lazy and likes to upset people. You shouldn’t be working in a place like you are. 2 things happened on 2 different occasions. I had went to get 2 chocolate peanut butter milkshakes. The girl with black hair told me they were out, so I had my wife go there within 5 minutes to get a new milkshake because they were out of the chocolate peanut butter and they were not out, and for tonight my wife and I are our kids walked in to order and they all got what they wanted but I had asked for a twist, the girl that wasn’t serving us had served someone else with the exact same thing I had ordered. If you want to be lazy don’t work there. A place like that, that serves ice cream and everything should be about pleasing your customers not upsetting them. Anyway I won’t be back there.
Not a bad little stand to visit. Drive thru is convenient, but their prices are awfully high. 6 dollars for a small flurry? No thank you
Sat in line for 25 minutes before 2x cars in front of me left and we ultimately did the same. An HOUR before closing, on a Saturday. Very unprofessional.
Everytime the curly hair old lady takes my order she acts like its a chore. Says she cant put soft serve on hard when I asked the owner and was told its perfectly fine. She is incredibly rude and needs to be let go. The high school staff is 1000x more respectful and customer friendly.
Stopped by The Scoop after dinner and tried both drive-thru lanes, no answer. They were clearly open so I went inside to order. The lady seemed peeved that I interrupted her break. When I placed my order, she mumbled back a question and I asked her to repeat herself. At this point she snapped back at me. I answered her, paid, and left. I will not be returning. This is the second time we've had this employee and she's been nothing short of awful.
Honestly every time I go there I get the same women with the same nasty attitude. I ordered a simple cookies and cream milkshake. What I got was a milk shake with no flavor and super thin as if there was to much milk added and when I pointed out I was told that she made it how she was supposed to and she wasn’t going to re make it! This place is too over priced for you too have poor customer service like if you are going to rob our pockets at least give us proper customer service
Waited over 20 minutes in the drive thru. Service was awful. Brownie sundae costed about $6 for vanilla soft serve and chunks of cosmic brownies with whip cream and a cherry.
Very nice- The Server was Sweet & got my share of ice cream- Now I'm 10lb heavier- Just kidding I give it a 10 rating Ty!
Ice cream was good. Service was ok. Wait time was long but to be expected at a drive thru place I guess. I didnt realize we could go in or I would have done that. Will go again
Better than most ice cream places, don't think about going across the street to yum this is way better.
My ice-cream was just how I remembered it so many years ago when I lived in Hornell. The rich custard of the twist ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. My favorite!
The service was great! The girls working behind the vounter were all so friendly and fast.
Long lines, probably because we finally had some warm weather, otherwise it was awesome, great prices and some if the best chocolate soft serve I've ever had
Went there just before closing and they were rude and didn't get our order right.
Its ice cream and they messed it up.
Their icecream is always good and affordable. The amount of icecream you get for small, medium, large, etc. Is good.
My go to ice cream place. Located off Seneca Street beside Hornell High School, this place will load your taste buds with ice cream heaven! Good prices too! Tip the ladies working so hard!
Always enjoy this place! They serve huge portions for low prices, they have a variety of flavours and offerings, and they're always polite to us. The frozen lemonade is
