Dr. Kanatova is amazing. She’s quick with her work but also SUPER attentive. I have not had any issues with her work.

I’ve been to this office 5+ times and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen.

The dental assistants and admin up front are all so sweet and helpful, especially Michelle. Hands down would recommend this place.

Rosa was a very pleasant woman. But her cleaning of my teeth was not thorough. My last cleaning was much better (don’t know the name of the technician) My teeth did not feel really clean. I would not recommend Rosa.

I have been going to Dr. Kateryna Grytsenko, DDS and her associates at Union Square Dental for more than 2 years now, since I went on Medicare. The service I receive is exceptional. The team at the desk could not be more welcoming and efficient with appointments, insurance, etc. Until last month I had been going for dental hygiene (cleanings, etc.). This week I completed my first major procedure (2 on-lays). The care and attention Dr. Grytsenko and her attendant gave could not have been better. I was able to conserve large parts of two compromised teeth, and the two on-lays could not be more comfortable or look more natural. Thank you, Dr. Grytsenko and your exceptional team.

Union Square Dental is a very professional, largely female, establishment. Starting with the two receptionists. They are smart, friendly, helpful and respectful. The dentists are warm, empathetic and very competent. I find my dentist, Dr. Katanova, to be completely trustworthy. The hygienists are also very competent as their cleanings are very thorough. I've been very happy with the results of my dental procedures at Union Square.

Have been very happy with this practice. I have found them to be caring, professional and competent. I have been going there for several years and have never felt dissatisfied. Better than any practice I have been to in the past.

I came to Union Square Dental for a root canal, my dentist doesn’t do root canals. Process was very easy and professional. The doctor was wonderful and procedure was painless. My dentist has said twice that Union

So I was looking for a dentist for quite a while now. My husband recommended Union Square Dental to me. I just had an appointment for a check-up the other day and I am super happy with the overall experience! The staff at the reception desk is super friendly and welcoming. Karishma Patel was absolutely amazing, she did an excellent job! All in all, I am super happy with my visit and I totally recommend Union Square Dental!

Went here for a year and a half while I was in the city for work. They did a good job with my fillings, and when I needed a short-notice appointment they were able to give me one.

My dentist Alla Tkachenko RDH is excellent, patient, caring, gentle and understanding doctor, she is a gem.
The Hygienist YuliYa V. Kanatova DDS is gentle, polite, understanding and caring as well.
The Assistants are phenomenal, they're are nice, caring, helpful and understanding.
The rest of the staffs in the front are as well helpful, understanding, caring and nice.
I recommend Union Square Dental to all my friends and acquaintances, in my opinion this office is one the few special medical office, you look forward to go to.

Brenda was helpful in many ways during my first visit to Union Square Dental. She pointed out some long term issues affecting my dental health and ways to deal with them. She also worked well collaborating with the dentist during the checkup in clarifying the necessary treatment. 5 cheers for her!

I was 25 mins late thanks to MTA, and they were able to fit me in. The receptionist did call me out Bc thanks to me she “had to stay”. Granted I was still 35 mins earlier than closing time but I’m grateful of their effort and their attention was exceptional. They took their time and were nice! Highly recommended

So apparently i can't leave more than one review, so here is today's and below is one from six months ago:
i never in a million years thought i'd be leaving a positive review for time spent at a dentist.but this makes two in a row.just had another cleaning with julia at union square dental.she was friendly and professional, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, it was quick and painless.for 40 years the dentist has been a place of pain and extreme discomfort, BUT.with julia it's a breeze.i strongly recommend you call up and request her.

6months ago:
i just walked out of what has to be the quickest, most comfortable trip to a dentist's office i've ever had.i was so moved by how efficient, yet gentle my hygienist was that i asked the receptionist to make a note in my file so that i can always have her (note: her name is julia kneselac). Both her and the doctor were very friendly, even funny at times, and took their time explaining all relevant details.i highly recommend this place.

Been going to U Sq Dental for several years, I received nothing but good dental care and good service,
Thanks to them it's not a drab going for my cleanings 4 times a year.

She was knowledgeable and caring. She prescribed medication that's seems to be working just one day after.

Great staff and service. Location is convenient. Hygenist is awesome, friendly and takes her time to explain and for me that is a plus.

OK is about all I can say. If you don’t mind waiting in the waiting room for up to an hour or more, they are not good at keeping appointments and starting on time. Marginal communication as well. The cleanings get the job done but are rushed by comparison to any other dentist I’ve had. Again, not a bad place, but just Ok.

Unscrupulous practice, under shady management. Be careful with the up sell and the bait and switch. I will be reporting them to the proper authorities.

Dr. Grytsenko and the whole team is the best! The front desk is very accommodating and helpful with financing — Ulla is my girl, she's on top of it all. Dr. Grytsenko was attentive to my comfort level and always great at explaining things. I had quite a lot of work done (crowns on every top tooth) and she was meticulous about it, which is exactly what you want when someone is fixing something as important as your smile.

My visit to a dentist can be described as pleasant these folks go out of the way to make that possible. From front desk to the Doctor herself everyone was very pleasant and helpful. A root canal and new crown fitting was pain free and devoid of unpleasant occurrences. Even the bill wasn't quite as bad as I had imagined!

Excellent care.courteous.friendly.professional.hygienist convinced me to use a waterpik, which solved my gum problems
