I didn’t get to live at Sweethome because I decided to go to a different school, but I really loved their property when I took a tour. The staff was super friendly and helpful! And I liked that everyone has their own private bathroom!

I really like University Village at Sweethome because they always have staff available to help 24/7. Plus I love having a washer and dryer in my apartment! The study lounge is cool too especially when I need to focus on work in a quiet place.

They typically mow the grass at 8am in the morning m, so don’t live here if you sleep late. Most amenities are also closed/inaccessible.

Ive lived at sweethome for a year and I’ve been looking around at tons of apartments and for the cost of the apartments at Sweethome and everything that is included it is SO worth it. Other apartment are the same price without anything included. Sweethome has utilities (except electric), cable, WiFi, fully furnished, and washer & dryer inside the unit.

It is overall a bad experience for a stay. While you move in, they endorse their gym and their community center study area which stays open 24/7. But their planning of the community center is horrible as you actually cannot focus and study as they have placed a 'Ping - pong' table in the study area, which gives it a far more ridiculous experience than it sounds.

The gym: As they are keeping the basketball court open 24/7, get ready to see a ton of outsiders in the gym which basically delays your workout as the equipments are occupied by people who don't actually live at sweethome.

The apartments are good enough with good and prompt service, but might encounter a cockroach problem in the summer so watch out.

They have been cutting costs everywhere but I did not mind until they started tweaking with the internet speed recently as of 11/27/18. Getting 7 mbps with a ethernet connection which is pathetic it used to be over 200.

At the price u pay 650/month for a quad you wouldnt expect a 10mbps internet speed would you? They have been cutting down the internet and it was the only thing keeping me here.

There are problems with the printer and the computers. I would consider having the shuttle buses run on Saturdays and Sundays (maybe every 30 minutes) so we can go to campus where there are working computers and printers. No one wants to take ubers or walk to campus on the weekends to study and be productive; not everyone who lives here has a car. I would also consider extending the hours for the shuttle buses on Fridays. Thank you.

Poor shuttle service. Rude front desk. The rent raises almost a hundred dollar after they change the manager. They even ad as “as low as $679” while you can find a much better one with the same price. They will also find a thousand reasons to charge you after you move out. You deserve to live in a better place. Trust me!

I had really worst experience living in Village at Sweethome apts. When I was not in my room staffs of sweethome apt evacuated all my personal stuffs without even giving me a notice. In this process I lost lot my valuable things and they dint help me find my belongings. They were extremely rude to me. I suggest no one to sign a lease because there are lot of good housing option near north campus for cheaper price.

Lived there for a year bc it was my last resort. Overpriced with low convenience customer service sums it up. Wouldn’t recommend it.

You guys are great. All appliance issues my roommates and I have had have been promptly dealt with by polite and rather amiable maintenance staff. Also, if you don't have a car, the shuttles are quite handy.

University Village at Sweethome is an amazing place to live. It is located very close to UB North Campus. Plus, they provide shuttle to the campus so you don't need to worry about walking to the campus. The apartments are spacious and fully furnished along with all the amenities. The staff is very friendly. Moreover, there are various facilities for entertainment like theater, swimming pool, ping pong etc.and also there is gym to keep your self fit. So, You will love living here.

Decent place to live for a reasonable price, appliances are a little out of date and don't do the best job but no problems other than that.

I have lived at the University Village at Sweethome for almost a year and half now and it is fantastic. It has all the accommodations i need as a full time college student. The staff is always helpful and kind. You won't be disappointed living here.

Service is good, and apartments are what you're looking for as a college student. Community center is very helpful, and has a lot of great amenities.

Overall, not a terrible place to live. Close to the school. Shuttle service is provided but many times runs on a slow schedule with few cars so students get left behind. The computer lab's printer is broken every single week which is incredibly inconvenient. Otherwise, management is quick with work orders and other problems.

Lived here for two years. The place has a lot of minus because it was built such a long time ago. The apartment needs new appliances because they are pretty slow but they work just fine. Its nice that its so close to campus and has a shuttle service. I was very fond of the shuttle service until this school year. It has not been running on schedule. If you plan on living here definitely request the room with the hallway (because it is bigger) and the fourth floor.

I like living at Sweethome! The staff at the community center is always super friendly and helpful. Over the months, we have had a couple different maintenance issues, but the maintenance staff has always responded to our work orders and fixed the issues within a day or two. There is also a shuttle bus that comes every 10-15 minutes and takes you to and from UB North which is very convenient. The main reason why I am not giving Sweethome 5 stars is that we had to re-clean our apartment when we moved in which was not very fun, and the walls are super thin so you can sometimes hear your neighbors having parties or doors slamming shut and stuff like that. Other than that, Sweethome is a great choice for off campus housing for college students.

Community assistants are helpful and patient. Work orders are answered almost immediately. Had a leaky faucet and got a brand new sink the same day. I've lived here for two years and had no problems with noise or roaches or anything. Living space is average, but well cared for. Would recommend. Four stars because rent is way too high for a space this size in the buffalo area.
