Tried setting up service and called the customer service line and the option tells me that the office is closed. Really, on Saturday morning. OK so you expect Mr yo get service and if there are any issues or I'd like to upgrade I have to wait? Are you serious? So you tell me to go online and blindly give you my information and give me no chance to ask a questiion? Oh yeah, no, I'm supposed to chat with prescription agent. What a false. Stop spending trillions on Ads when you don't deliver. Click!

I had the best experience with customer service at the Verizon store in Soho. I was distraught after losing my phone and Tristen was extremely helpful and patient in walking me through the process. When I had some trouble with insurance claim, Joshua, a manager there, quickly stepped it up a notch to make sure I got my phone as quickly as possible. I also was grateful for seeing them take all the proper precautions during this pandemic. Thankful for such positive customer service.

Amazing sales people, I went in to get my wife a new phone case, some how walked out with my kids getting iPhones and phone cases. I left still happy, way to upsell!

Terrible experience. I’ve been redirected here by the customer service, I’ve been told to fix my problem I was supposed to pay $30, which I did but nothing happened. Asked for a refund, they refused. Asked to file a complaint, they refused. Will follow up with the headquarter.

Long story short: the staff here tried to con me into thinking my phone was broken and that I had to buy a new phone. Afterwards I took my phone to the Verizon affiliated store on canal street and they fixed the issue in two minutes. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. Go to the canal street one! The employees there are smart and friendly:)

Probably the worst service I have ever received. Period. My phone had bad signal and service (workable, but bad). I talked to Verizon’s advanced technician on the phone and she told to come into this store and receive a new SIM card, then to call her back if that didn’t fix my problem.

I came in and the staff was rude and barely acknowledged me. After one employee put in a new SIM card, my phone was not only not fixed, but it lost all signal completely and was no longer working. The employee then immediately told me my phone’s antenna was broken and tried to sell me a new phone/insurance. I told him this was impossible because my phone worked with other SIM cards just fine and that the technician on the phone assured me this was not a hardware issue. He ignored me and told me I was wrong and that I had to buy a new phone.

Finding this employee unbearable I went to another and asked if she could get in touch with Verizon’s customer service because now that my phone no longer worked, I couldn’t. She refused to.

Instead of buying a new phone I took my phone to the Verizon affiliated store on canal street. I met an employee named peter who was much nicer and more helpful. He took my phone and fixed it completely within two minutes! I had perfect service again. Apparently when I used a different carrier in Japan, some settings had been mixed up. A simple fix.

I am so disheartened by the rudeness and trickery of this Verizon store on broadway. I used to buy all my new iPhones from this store, but now I will never be back. I have heard similar stories about the unhelpfulness and lack of knowledge from employees at this store. DO NOT GO. Go to the canal street one instead! Or any other Verizon store, just stay clear of this one.

Edit: From reading other reviews it sounds like Mr. Ortiz is pretty great and very professional. I wish I had been able to speak to him. What a shame. Still, I was appalled by the service I got from two other employees there (I wish I had gotten their names) and, reading the reviews, it sounds like a lot of other customers were unlucky and treated poorly as well. I will see if I can make a complaint to Verizon HQ because no one should be conned like I was.

Horrible customer service. There were 4 employees and one customer inside. I went in to add 2 phone lines to my acct.after 20 mins I didn’t even get a hello so I left.

I am a current Verizon customer around 4/29/2019.
I came into the store with a question about my account. The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. No one greeted me and instead of feeling like a valued customer, the staff made me feel like a nuisance for having the nerve to ask them questions about my own account. In the end, I got no answers and no help.
I had visited two other Verizon locations within the previous 7 days and each time received much better service than this.
Your staff should be ashamed for their complete lack of customer service and ashamed for the way they badly represented Verizon as a brand.
EDIT: I went during a quiet time and was only 1 of about 2 customers in the store at the time.tl;dr: DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE - there are others in the city that will treat you much better.

This is a store with rude and disrespectful customer service, especially to young college students living alone in the city. My daughter visited this store to buy a new phone after hers had a manufacturers issue, she could not make or receive phone calls, or text unless she was in an area that had WiFi. They would not sell her a new phone because she just turned 21 and her ID had expired. She obviously had not been home to renew it yet. Her father was called who is the account holder and the store would not accept his ID over the phone so my daughter could purchase a functioning device. On top of this they were rude and mean to my daughter who is alone living in NYC without a phone that works! No one should visit this location again! I have already reported this egregious behavior to Verizon’s corporate office and the Better Business Bureau. Shame on you!

Your typical Verizon corporate store. When I went to pick up an online order there was no check in kiosk and I had to a good 10 minutes to get my order. It took a week for my order to process and none of my promotional pricing was included. Ended up moving to project fi instead. With all the free WiFi in NYC why spend over $100 for a single line of data.

If I could give them -5 I would, service is so out of control no management skills, no professional attitude, it’s just a waste of time, just call Verizon.my problem wasn’t solved because I just left after waiting 30mins, they told me my waiting time would be 5 min, after 15min I asked again he said 5 min. Don’t even bother going in, call them.

Service was great. Knowledgeable staff and I love the new look of the store. Very inviting and clean. Only negative is they don't do hardware repairs.

I legitimately received no help whatsoever at this location. I left in a rage. No one was capable of helping me with a broken phone (despite having insurance and an account upgrade). Workers gave you as minimal attention/help as possible. I get that you're busy but you can't just blow off customers who need assistance.

I am a Verizon customer and I can't stand it. The service is the worst and the only reason I stick with them is because of my contract. I will definietly switch to ATT when this contract is up soon. I gave up on trying to get anything corrected when I have an issue and I just deal with it.

Relative to other Verizon shops in the city, this is one of the best as far as customer service and product selection goes. I always regret going to any other location!

Verizon provides good customer support for its cusotmers. Wait time is often low if you call at the right time of the day. I do like the high speed internet as it is convenient and cheap. Possibly the cheapest service out there.

Best Verizon Wireless store in the city. The customer service alone is why I will only frequent this location going forward. I came a few months ago after my phone was stolen, and thanks to the help of Scott, was able to get a new phone (+ a tablet) for a fairly reasonable price, without ruining my existing bill. The staff was also very supportive in making sure I was able to connect to the wifi while I was waiting.

After confirming on phone with customer service the rep, told me I could not do it
Wasted an hour just standing there

While the other rep was trying to get a date with one of the customers

Customer service seems to be a non starter here
