Ambiance Nail Spa Rookwood Voted Best Manicure & Pedicure, Cincinnati OH

Did not have an appointment but was seen right away. Lu was kind, professional, pleasant and accommodating.

Hannah did an excellent job. I had a pedicure and Dip powder nails done. The botanical pedicure was awesome and my manicured nails turned out perfect.

My favorite place to get my acrylic sets/fills! Such polite staff who do the most thorough job in Cincinnati. Obsessed with this set — got so many compliments on it with people asking where I get my nails done!:)

I started going to Ambiance to get SNS manicures and haven't stopped coming back! I love the ability to make reservations via their website (they are extremely responsive) and they are always so organized that I never have to wait longer than my scheduled appointment time. My favorite tech is Andy Lu - he is the best when it comes to SNS! I love chatting with him and he always makes sure I am having a relaxing and enjoyable salon visit.

Pro tip: If you pay in cash, you receive a 5% discount. You also cannot tip on credit cards, so remember to bring cash to give to your tech!

Loved their work, loved their bartender, hated that I said the same service 3 times and was still charged for that service and extras I refused when offered. Bummer to leave feeling kinda cheated, conflicted on returning.

Went to have my nails done with powder dip. For starters the way they have you remove your old powder dip is very uncomfortable and I will not ever do it again. They have me scrub my Hands on the bottom of a bowl for over 5 minutes to remove polish. My hands where starting to get sore. Then she said keep going. She told me more then twice that my hands where not relaxed enough and it was making her job harder. My hands where as relaxed as they could be after rubber them in a bowl for over 5 minutes. It is not professional to continuously tell a customer that they are making your job harder. It made me feel very uncomfortable. She took my credit card before we where done and left it face up on the end of the table. I asked her politely to flip it face down. And she ask me if there was a problem. I told her it made me feel safer if she just flipped it face down. She did and continued to tell me no one was going to steal my identity. And kept asking why I was worried about it. It was a simple request and I should not have been questioned. When I left I felt very upset and uncomfortable. And to top it all off I still have old nail polish on two fingers that you can see under the new polish. I do not recommend this place at all.

I love this nail salon! After trial and error at many different nail salons, I happened to go here through a recommendation and I’ve returned many times! I originally went to Tommy because he had raving reviews and I was more than pleased with how my nails turned out but when I came back in for a fill in he was out of town. I was hesitant to let someone else do my nails but my nails turned out amazing yet again! Everyone at the nail salon does an amazing job and they’re all equally talented! I would recommend to anyone!

Nice atmosphere, serves alcohol, but is expensive compared to others, staff was a lil rude during my pedicure. Whispering to each other and laughing, kinda made me feel bad.

I always leave Rookwood feeling so relaxed and with a perfect pedicure. About a year ago I experienced nerve damage to my foot leaving it extremely sensitive to touch. Any nail technician I get has always been very attentive to this when I make them aware and for that I am always extremely grateful. It doesn’t hurt you can have a glass of wine as you sit back and get your manicure or pedicure. Ambiance is a great place to go!

The service was AWESOME! All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be making this my permanent nail salon location.

I came here to get my hands and feet done for my birthday and was not disappointed at all of course! Andy took real good care of me and had me ready for my big night out. I love this place and I only go Ambiance or their sister salons because the same standards of service apply! And I love that they keep expanding because now there are more locations closer to me! Love it️

I don't feel it's worth it for the cost of a pedicure. The technicians are generally distracted in their own conversations. They rush through the job and I have yet to find some one there who does a really solid paint job. I've been to this location 5 or 6 times and I prefer ambiance one or the Venetian spa out in Mason, the best pedicures are in Atlanta because they're lower price and with more competition they do a better work. My final complaint about this location is there have been several people who actually hurt my feet under doing them. I rarely give the time to make a poor review but after spending hundreds of dollars there and still not a solid pedicure I figured it was time. I won't make the same mistake again. This is a place my girlfriends like to go, next time I will suggest where we go

I took my daughter in there today for her birthday and I didn’t like the way the Indian looking woman kept looking at us and saying something to the white lady who was rude. When writing our names down I was told there was a party of eleven and theater they were about to start on them. At first we were going to wait but before I could say we will wait the white lady told me go to the their other shop. Never did I ask her about their other shop and wasn’t planning on leaving

I’ve been getting my nails done since I was 16 and this is by far the best place I’ve been! I always get lengthened acrylics. I’ve been to this location and AMBIANCE II and they are all above average. The nail tech’s really try to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They don’t rush getting the shape of my nail right and they always do a good job. Even though other places are closer, I always go to Ambiance. Thank you for making me feel welcome!

Service was quick yet personable. The manicure I got is perfection. Plus there was the pressure of a busy day before the holidays and service was still good. Definitely recommend.

Love the vibe of this nail salon. It’s relaxing and you feel pampered without it being over the top. The employees do a great job - love getting the shellac French manicure!

I have always had great experiences here at Ambiance Salon. I have been to multiple locations in Hyde Park and Loveland, and every time I go, the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I usually do not have to wait more than 10 minutes for an appointment, and the quality is always top notch! I always feel extremely satisfied with my manicures and will definitely be a loyal customer!

This was my first time ever going to an Ambiance Nail Salon and it was so convienient and easy! I received the Gel Polish Change service on my hands. The Rookwood location was very clean, everyone was very professional, and the hot towel treatment was so relaxing. Prices are also extremely reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is so relaxing and the technicians are very attentive and considerate. I have tiny nails and they did an amazing job. I had a great experience here! Just remember that tips must be in cash and you get a small discount when you pay for your whole service in cash.
