Applebee's Grill + Bar, Independence OH

Restaurant had plenty of seats but due to short staff most likely had to wait a bit for table which I didn't mind cause once we got to table our appetizers came out fast and our entrées not too far behind food was good and service was good will come back.

Drinks, service, and the food were all bad
Will never dine at this particular applebees again

Everyone was very nice. But everytime I order take out or curbside to go from any Applebee's, I always have to remind them about my drink.

I hate to give any place 1 star but we never made it in the door. The hostess told us it was in between shifts (3p) and we wouldn't have a server so it would be a 20 min wait to get seated. I could see patrons inside and servers waiting on them. I could only assume the servers were not interested in getting us started by taking our order and bringing us coffee while we waited for the other shift. Maybe it's true, no one wants to work anymore. We were coming from a long drs appt and super hungry.ham and cheese with tomato and mayo at home did the trick and saved us the usual $40 + tip.

Fast service.
Food was good.
Waiting was supposed to be 20 minutes but was 5 minutes

Dining room closed before 9pm. If your excuse is no employee, close completely and quit inconvenience customer who drive to your restaurant!

Missed our seating and placed 3 groups ahead of us. Had to reenter only to find out we were missed. May update if I go back and recive a better experience.

Waitress was nice, food was great. Only thing was how long we had to wait for appetizers, but they ended up taking it off for the wait. I also appreciated how friendly and patient waitress was with my special needs son. Forgot her name.

I took my grandchildren there after a day out to the aquarium for dinner excellent food made by Ronald Hancock the chef

I mean it took 20 plus minutes for online ordering to work. Then it does and the steak i was gonna order cant be ordered after 10pm it was 7 after 10 lol.
Then the crispy potatoes must. Not be seasoned bland as hell. I dont. Normally post reviews but the 3 stars is just my hope they had an off nite

Service was horrible for was over cooked and none of the people in our party of 8 got their food at the same time

Scowling hostess. Slow service. Seated at table with water spilled on it, there for 10 min without speaking to anyone. 30 minutes from order to meal. Oriental chicken salad. Tasted good, but sloppy, dressing dripped down over edges of dish. Not a happy place.

Decent food. Decent prices. During the lunch hour, sit at the bar for the best service. Especially if Kim is working.

Blah blah bland. Food and staff. Waited forever, got our order wrong, screwed up on the bill. Manager was indifferent.over it.

Ernest was THE best host I've ever had at any Applebee's including out of the state. He's attentive, pleasant, and shows genuine care to others.

Did not get all the items in my order, received items I told them I didn't want, and my man's ribs.full rack.only half had sauce on it!
For 52 dollars, never again

Our waitress made our evening. She made us feel at home. I wish I remembered her name. Food was delicious, too.

I had an excellent meal and the waiter was fantastic. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again ill make sure to stop back

Service was really bad. Not managers fault. Filling in for someone sick. Food was still good. Had to wait an exceptional amount of time for beverages, then brought wrong drink. Saw waitress for maybe 1 minute total, took order, asked about refill someone else brought it out. She knew I needed a refill and waited till I was done with my meal to bring it to me. Needed it during my meal.

My Beyond Beef burger was badly burned last time that I visited this location. They are normally well cooked and well seasoned. In fact, it's hard to even tell that it's a vegetarian burger. The manager provided me with a coupon to make up for their mistake so I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3.
