I do like what they've done with the old mall. I like that the fact that they're here draws people into the mall that might not otherwise go. If the tenants that were in the mall could just slightly reinvent themselves to take advantage of this traffic that would be great. I was in and out so didn't get to interact with the staff too much but everyone I did meet was very friendly and super helpful.

I spent 3 days are for chest pains. From the nurse's aides to the nurses to the dietary. To the lab technicians. Everybody there was nice and treated like you were somebody important.

I had to visit Avita ER due to a gallbladder attack and the staff was wonderful.they kept me comfortable until the ambulance could transfer me to galion for surgery. ER nurses, lab, radiology. I had no complaints.

I brought my daughter here because I knew there would be a short wait. She is throwing up and has stomach pain. Before they even touched her, they blew it off as a reaction to her birth control shot she has been on for years with no reactior they just gave her nausea meds n sent her home. No corona virus test Going to a real emergency room tomorrow. I'd rather wait 5 hours thean go back to avita

This is the worst hospital and if you care about your loved ones, you will never let them go here. As a matter of fact, I am considering hiring an attorney.

Every single doctor my mother and grandmother have visited have had nothing but bad attitudes.all of the doctors seem like they have no clue what they are even doing, and they never seem to diagnose anybody I've talked with, with the correct ailments. I would never recommend taking ANYBODY you care about here.they will be belittled by doctors who think they know every detail of every patients life.never have I heard of such rude people being in the medical field.just thought everyone should know.

Currently have been waiting two hours for a doctor to even come in the room. Registration came in an hour and a half of waiting. My girlfriend has been getting sick all night with a fever and extreme headache and nothing has been said to us yet. I’ve never waited so long to be checked on. Last time I came I was in the waiting room for almost two hours. Couldn’t wait any longer due to pain and had to go somewhere else. Would not recommend this place

The people are always nice but they didnt treat the infection with antibiotics, went to urgent care and they said I needed a zpack right away for the respitory infection. They also didn't tell me about a curve in my spine, I had to find out from my test results myself. I guess if I continue to go here I need to stay until I can see my own test results. Kinda disappointed, my family loves this place but I really feel kept out of the loop, never even met my doctor.

This place is a JOKE! I went in for a pre-employment drug test, they sent my drug test results to a complete different company and refuses to give the correct company my results. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Everyone from the front door to the behind the scenes nurses & doctors were so comforting & humorous. It made me feel they really care. Thank you for all you do.

Was very ill with a few horrible issues going on and was trying to just see an ENT to begin with. ENT "nurse" working for one of the physicians said I'd need to go a different hospital since I have X issues, maybe needing blood work and have other issues with organs that technically have zero to do with my main issue in my throat. The two women I spoke with were "nice" but obviously didnt understand or care to listen to what I was saying.my expectations are so low for "healthcare" workers and the blew the floor out.uhh.btw its ohio state university hospital under a " happy " name. Mostly students and kids that haven't s clue but are are working on u!

mind you I dont have HIV/aids or anything horrible for that anyone can get from me.

Just had a total knee replacement. I was treated like a VIP the entire time I was there. The entire staff that looked after me were very professional and courteous. Dr. Foster and his staff of nurses and caregivers were very caring I am very happy with the entire time I was there.

Went in a while back. No Idea what I had. Felt HORRIBLE. The E. R.doctor looked at my heart, eyes, nose, throat, and not even kidding a little bit he said "well just a viral infection nothing we can do" 5 min in the E. R.to be told that. He was a very big guy and was on the night shift. Didn't test me NOTHING ended up having the flu. Not only did I have to Pay he got paid and I had to go somewhere else and pay again. Also know people they sent home to die ending up having super high blood pressure! Wouldn't take anyone I care about to this hospital. Never ever again.

Told me I had to get better health wise before they could treat me. I thought that was the reason I was going there in the first place. SMH Would give zero star if allowed.

I had a 10 am consultation with Dr. Ghozoul today. I showed up at 9: 45, with new patient paperwork in hand all filled out, and sat in the waiting area until almost 10: 30 before I was taken back to a room and checked-in. It was 11: 00 and nobody had been in the room. I decided at that point I was leaving as I have to use my sick time from work for this visit and it was clearly getting wasted. I told the lady in check out that I was leaving and all she said was "ok". I stopped at reception and explained why I was leaving and asked for my co-pay to be refunded. The receptionist went and talked to the check-out lady and came back to refund my copay, and all she said was "thank you"! Not one apology from any staff or the Dr.herself as at this point she was standing at the check-out. I understand that she has a busy and demanding job, but come on, at least let your patients know what's going on & that you're running behind to see if they need to reschedule.

After taking my husband to ER for a broken wrist, I was convinced I needed to change my primary and facility to Avita. Absolutely wonderful! I made my appt.with Megan Crowley in Bellville and I have seen her once. So far I love her. Now. I fell down my stairs and knew I broke something. I couldn't walk. Shooting pain up my back. Avita was great all the way. They referred me to a neuro surgeon in Galion. I broke my back. He is extremely nice and very professional and thorough. He put me on pain meds and a back brace and to return in 4 weeks for more x rays. I finished my prescription for pain and called to pick up a refill and was told they don't do that. I asked what I should do and was told to go to a pain management clinic. As of now, the pain management doctor will not continue the pain meds. I realize there is an opiate problem in our society, however I have a broken back. Motrin and Tylenol aren't helping. I am in agony and not being heard. I went for my next set of x rays today at Avita. The techs and employees are wonderful. They need to re-evaluate their practice of not prescribing pain meds. I have an appt with Neuro in Galion tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.
ADDING: I went to meet with my Neuro Dr.and he had no problem refilling my script for pain meds. We scheduled a procedure because i was still in so much pain. I'm not sure how this could have been handled differently, maybe a change in office practice to allow refills under certain circumstances. All in all, I still love Avita. Who doesn't have areas they could work on?

Awful! This is nothing more than a cow-town hospital. They don't employ enough doctors so they try to steer you to a Nurse Practitioner. NPs are fine for basic illnesses like the flu, chicken pox or high blood pressure, but I've found them to be clueless on complex issues, which results in NPs asking a doctor or referring you to one. Wait time to see a real doctor is often lengthy and I've found I knew more about the human anatomy than one doctor I saw - I was told I was missing a kidney and I had to show him where it was on the MRI.
I will need to travel to Cleveland or Columbus to have quality care since I have lost confidence in Avita. After seeing nothing but doctors at the Cleveland Clinic and UH in Cleveland for the past 20 years, I guess I shouldn't have expected much from Avita. I think 1 year was more than enough to give them a chance and I would never consider them for surgery.
