Avita Health System - Ontario Hospital

My experience over a year, Doctor never kept to his promise of care. Treated poorly by staff. Always had to do their job as far as contacting insurance, making sure paperwork was filed. Appointments were either changed without noticed, or just wouldnt return my calls. Disagreed with me when I suffered in pain. Promised surgery 3 different visits and yet last visit he said, "If your in pain I can't do surgery. " Made no sense. Rude and non caring staff. Two years later, found that my S1 Joint was torn, now I have pins in my body. The cost of healthcare, we should have excellent care. Our family would NOT have this hospital ever treat us.

Reviewing just 3rd floor cafe for the moment. Chef with chef tattoo on neck is awesome! Sorry, could not read name tag. Excellent food and incredible attitude. Chef should be in New York or Paris! Very impressed!
Update:
This hospital saved my son's life! He went to Cleveland Clinic first because we trusted them. Cleveland Clinic released my son after 24 hours. He became more ill on way home and we took him to Avita, where they started caring for him. Two days later Cleveland Clinic called saying they released him too soon and he had sepsis! Avita saved his life! I cannot thank this place or the staff enough! Extremely impressed and grateful for these wonderful caring people!

My mother went in for a surgery on her rotator cuff and the staff was excellent. Everyone involved, nurses, anesthesiologist, surgeon, and even volunteers, the staff even greeting us at the door and taking her upstairs were all wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and professional but above all, kind. When we asked questions they were answered. Thank you to everyone there.
