Chuy's, Columbus OH

EXTREMELY SLOW service. I believe our waiter was overburdened with tables. With that being said it took an extended to get our food after ordering.

Very disappointed in our visit tonight. Asking for our favorite dish: "Elvis Fried Chicken" and being told they no longer serve fried food put us on the wrong foot. After we ordered our food it took a long time to come out, even though the restaurant was not busy. The service was subpar and the management was non-existent to even ask questions or to visit with tables for feedback. The floor was dirty and looked like it hadn't been mopped in awhile. They could do better.

First time having Chuys takeout and i just want to say it’s a big disappointment. They have small amount of rice and beans. Rice was flavorless and beans were over salted. And the steak burrito was spicy and no where on the menu did it indicate it would be spicy. We ordered deluxe tomatillo sauce and it tasted like diluted ranch. Claims to be Tex-Mex but honestly does not taste very well. Taste/quality/price were extremely poor.

Chuy’s always has great food, quick, awesome atmosphere and absolutely great service. Our server Sam went above and beyond today and she made our experience excellent.

It is a little different then all of the other Mexican restaurants I patronize. Everything made from scratch very authentic service was perfect and food just has to be tried to understand. It is spot-on. If you're wondering where to eat give it a try

For 1st time going, along with my family, our lunch was good. Selection on menu and prices, were economical. Atmosphere was ok, but music was a little loud for us. We had to raise our voices to be heard. We will come back again.

Good customers service is hard to find and let me tell you Chuy’s has great customer service. We were immediately treated when we walked in seated the waitress was super friendly and drinks at the table quickly and refills before we finished the first. Food was amazing, Being raised In Colorado, New Mexico Hatch Chili’s have always been apart of my Chili, thank you for bring true Green Chili to Columbus. Also, I truly appreciate the exit greeting. Your staff you busy cleaning but still made it to the front to tell us to have a good night. Great job Chuy’s!

Chuy's has its own signature style and that goes for the food and the atmosphere. I highly recommend their chicken or steak fajitas if that's your thing. They give you plenty of tortillas and different toppings to choose from. Chips are definitely a must regardless of what you're getting.

Over 3 hour wait for party of 14. Was seated under a leaky AC unit, told the waiter and she did nothing. We had to Scott our tables so we would stop getting wet. Waiter was hateful and didn't check on us more than once. No Alcohol beverage under 7.00 and not worth the money. Food was ok, but had to ask another waiter for more chips. High Priced, Services Terrible, not worth my time or money. Never again.

JW came and visited our table. Suggested wonderful margaritas and even checked up on us. Eclectic menu to choose from. We chose chili rellenos which were absolutely amazing definitely an offer two people to split It came with rice and beans as well.great atmosphere with great music

The food was amazing! A bit of a wait during the lunch rush, but for a good reason. The menu is more on the spicey side so fair warning. Also they have a big emphasis on enchiladas but I'm not complaining. Will visit again.

If I could give zero stars I would. The shear negligence they have for people with good allergies is disturbing. I personally have worked in food service so I know the importance of caution expected to be taken for those with food allergies. I have a gluten allergy and was given a hand written menu saying *not guaranteed* gluten free. I ordered off the menu and was still given gluten containing food. I asked for the server to remove this item, thinking they would have common sense to completely replace my food and put on a new plate. But, instead they had just removed the gluten containing food item and put more food on the SAME plate where the glutenated item was. My Only purpose for this review is to clearly label this establishment as not safe to eat for those who have a food allergy.

The food was amazing. The tortillas are made fresh by hand right in front of you. I ate the steak fajita and the steak tasted sooo good! The only reasing i gave 3 star and not 5 is because the decors and the lambs over the tables were covered w cobwebs and dusts. They are prolly not cleaned since the place is opened (i woiluld say couple of years)! That was a lil disgusting to be honest. If the health inspectors came to inspect they would prolly close it down until thy are all cleaned!

The creamy avocado sauce is delicious. Ask for it immediately when sitting down to dip your chips in. Chips are light, salty, and airy. Everything I have had there is great.

Awesome food, awesome staff, awesome happy hour. I think you get what I'm driving at here.this place is awesome!

Food was blah. I got the chicken flautas which were said to be "soaked and drizzled" in red sauce but they came out super dry and boring. 2 of the 5 orders at our table were messed up and we had to ask the waitress for napkins over 5 times because she would only bring 2 or 3 at a time when there were five of us.not happy with this place and will not be going back. I've had great mexican food elsewhere. This place is extremely overrated.

I swore I was home in Austin, birthplace of Chuy’s, but alas I was in Columbus Ohio. Could have fooled me as the food was just as good. I happen to know how their kitchens work and their formula means great food, every meal. Good job Ohio, but I am back in Austin now.

My wife and I went to Chugs with our grandchild for his birthday. The food was great and our server #44 noemy made our dinner a wonderful experience, she was pleasant and tended to us like we were the only table she was taking care of but we were not. I recommend this Restaurant to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place go.

Finally a place with fun atmosphere and good spicy food. Good mix of food. I love it. First time repeat customer

Realllyyyy weak drinks. Portions were huge but really bland. I did have excellent service which is where the two stars comes from.
