Tex-Mex Restaurant Chuy's reviews
35Dissatisfied with my pork tacos, the meat was dry and the tortilla was like microwaved leather. Cool atmosphere.
Loved it! Service was a little slow, but the food was amazing. On point. Coming from an Exec Chef, the kitchen staff were on it.
A little taste of Austin, TX in Columbus, OH. Fajitas and margaritas are delicious. Free queso during happy hour rounds out the tasty fresh salsa. Love this place. Welcome sight as former Texans.
We came here last night and then again tonight. Last night service was great. Service tonight inside the bar is terrible. Waiter asked what you want to drink snd then immediately turns his back. You do receive menus until he brings the drinks and then throws them on the table. Asked for more chips and it just throws them in the basket. Ask for more tear and he overpours and lands on the napkin. He starts walking away. We ask for more napkins.
Great mexican place for food.i will always choose this over places.the service is pretty good too.
The food is ok here. The margaritas and the creamy jalapeno dip are the best. The blood orange margarita is my favorite. The onion mixture inside of the quesadillas was slightly burnt, giving the whole thing an overall burnt flavor.
First time eating here with my parents amazing foods to choice our waiter bobby was amazing can’t wait to come back again to enjoy more foods
Their chips.oh my goodness, their chips! Amazing, especially when paired with the jalapeno ranch. My favorite!
Went here twice over a long weekend. Once with our baseball team, once with just my son. Service was outstanding both times. No delay of any kind with our large group. Food is top notch. I hope the trend of new locations heading north continues.
The food here was amazing! Fresh, hot and in large portions. I had the fajita chicken tacos and and was very happy and stuffed by the end of the meal. There is also tons of great drink options if you like tequila, and many different appetizers to try!
I've been here twice. Both times I was impressed with how fresh the food tasted. This place is a great alternative to the standard Mexican restaurants in Columbus. I especially love their super thin chips & salsa. They also serve a creamy jalapeno dip for the chips that is very addicting. We had great service too. They seemed to be busy both times we went and our service didn't suffer at all. Great place to get fresh Mexican food in a fun gastropub atmosphere.
The food was great! There are plenty of options for picky eaters, too. Service was also excellent.
Service is GREAT AT the location. Catering, however, is awful. I've ordered 3 times for ctaering and not ONCE has it been on time or correct. We will no longer be using theri catering services, which are horrendous. The Easton location, Columbus Ohio
I eat here couple times a month and every experience has been great. Great food, great staff, rarely ever a wait longer than 20 minutes. Love this place!
I first went to Chuy’s many years ago when I traveled often to Austin, TX, so I was ecstatic when they opened up this location. I love the fresh tortillas. That’s by far (for me) the thing that sets them apart from your standard Tex-Mex place. The creamy jalapeño sauce is amazing as well. The fajitas are my go-to on any occasion, but the Chuychanga is great as well.
