Tex-Mex Restaurant Chuy's reviews
29Meh, it's alright. The food is decent. Had bad service, and had to ask for refills, even tho the soda was flatter than a dead person's pulse, and to remind her to get what we asked for. And it took forever for our waitress to get the simplest of things i.e refills. Definitely don't recommend, and I'm definitely not returning.
We tried two of their August (2018) Green Chile specials today - the Chicken Velvet Enchiladas and the King Carne Burrito. Both were really good. I can't pick one that's better because they were so different from each other. I would recommend either one.or both!
The fresh chips and salsa are the best! A clean and fun atmosphere. Friendly service and delicious beverages. Bring a framed picture of your dog for them to hang on their wall. I highly recommend it you are looking for good taco!
Salsa was fresh made and excellent. I got the chimichanga and while the rice and beans and sauce were delicious. The roasted chicken had no flavor. They had other options for steak or fajita chicken that may be better.
Love the food here! My husband gripes because he says there is too much cilantro in the salsa but I love it. We got the queso with the beef in it, so good! If you can, come here during happy hour, you get free queso from the nacho bar in the bar.
A true Tex-Mex joint! So far I haven't had a single bad, mediocre, or just ok experience.they have all been GREAT. The food is very good and the kids live looking around the restaurant looking for all if the mini rubber ducks hidden everywhere.
Bottom line: Makes me want to move back to Texas.
They have Pico instead of salsa. I would rather have salsa. However they have a creamy jalapeno dip that incredible.
Basically if they had salsa they would get 5 stars
Best tasting mexican food that I've ever enjoyed eating. Our waiter was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.
