Joel is an excellent music production AND guitar teacher. He always has something new to share and a professional and kind attitude for every lesson. I cannot recommend them enough.

I attended classes here for about a year. I came into the program with very little knowlage about music theory or production and Joel was able to push me and teach me so much about music production in a short period of time. If you are somebody who's interested in getting into music production or just doing something with music in general this is the place for you. It is 100% worth the money.

I took guitar lessons from Joel Greenberg for over 3 years. I am an "older" student and my experience with Joel was fantastic. He worked with my goals and gave me material that was fun and challenging! He gave me the skills I needed to go off and study other areas. When I move into Jazz guitar I will be going back to Joel.

I am now a student with CMA in their adult group piano class with Natasha Pence. That's another great environment to learn piano and be with a bunch of great people!

I took guitar lessons with Joel Greenberg at CMA for 1.5 years and loved it! He adapted his teaching style to meet my learning style, met me where I was in my skill level, helped me break bad habits, improve my finger dexterity, and guided me through learning chromatic and blues scales. He is flexible and works with you on scheduling, his rates are comparable to others given his level of expertise, and he's one helluva guitarist. He also helped me to build my confidence when performing in front of an audience by providing a supportive recital at the end of the year, and I have since moved on to playing with a local band. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience taking lessons at CMA with Joel and I highly recommend the school and its educators.

I have been taking drum lessons from Jason Smart for the last two years. I thought it would be odd to start taking drum lessons at 30+ years old (I had previously taken lessons as a teenager), but I had a goal in mind, and Jason helped me to accomplish it! He is very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. He is flexible in his training plan, and builds it around my specific goals. He helped me to learn how to read drum music as well as basic rudiments. He also allows me to bring in music that I need to learn for specific gigs, and teaches me or simplifies the parts for my current learning pace. I highly recommend Jason and Cincinnati Music Academy!

I've been taking drums lessons from Devon for 2 years. I have improved immensely due to Devons' keen ability to adapt to the needs of each student. I would highly recommend CMA and look forward to continuing lessons there in the future!

We are a CMA family! My daughter, son and I have all taken lessons with the excellent faculty here. Devon Leigh, one of the drumset instructors here, is absolutely phenomenal and really takes the time and tailors his approach to target the essentials for each player. Olga Rua for piano is also outstanding! Really excellent teachers!

My son is 15 and has taken drum lessons for years. We started with Devon L.about a year ago. My son loves you going to lessons with Devon. He is able to help him with many styles. He is working on jazz now. He is much more inspired to practice now. If you are looking for a drum teacher I wld recommend CMA and especially Devon.

Joel Greenberg taught our teenage daughter to play the electric guitar. She learned so much, gained confidence and now has skills she will use throughout her life. Highly recommend!

I have had a few piano teachers, however, Amy Immerman has the rare ability to understand how her students learn. This insight allows her to reveal the essence of a piece in the unique way her students each understand music. There is no substitute for this talent, and I have progressed further and faster than I would have imagined before meeting Amy. 5 Clefs!

CMA is an excellent school choice - particularly for adults who are looking for music instruction for the first time, or for those who (like me) already have some music background and are looking for more ways to personally grow in music by learning a new instrument. Instructor (Greg Noland) takes time to know the student's learning styles, needs and musical interests - truly making it both an effective and engaging learning experience!

I have been a Bass student of Matt Holt at Cincinnati Music Academy for a few years now and have grown tremendously as a player. Being an adult student I had looked at a few schools and found Cincinnati Music Academy to have a good blend of programs for both young and old with a highly experienced teaching staff.

Cincinnati Music Academy is great! I took voice lessons with David Urbon for 3 years and Music technology lessons with Joel Greenberg for 2 years. They were extremely dedicated to making sure I was successful, and thanks to their persistence, knowledge, and amazing teaching abilities, I will be attending the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music to pursue a degree in Commercial Music Production. This had been a goal of mine for years, and it is safe to say that I could not have accomplished this without the Cincinnati Music Academy. Whether you’re looking to get into a competitive college or just want to better yourself as a musician, this is the place to be.

I have been taking lessons at Cincinnati Music Academy for about 8 years, and with Greg Noland for a little over a year. Greg is a great teacher, patient with adult students that don't always have time to practice. He explains things about three to four different ways, breaks complicated things down into manageable chunks and keeps lessons moving forward so that you are always challenged and never bored.

My oldest son studied for five years at CMA with lessons in Jazz Guitar, Rock Guitar, Voice & Drums and he continues to study music in college. My youngest son has studied piano at CMA for almost three years. The teachers my boys studied with were talented, professional and caring musicians. CMA provided a foundation for my sons to excel, with instruction that was tailored to met their needs. Both boys were able to excel in high school jazz band, perform in bands outside school, as well pursue songwriting and music composition. I am extremely happy, as are my boys, that we discovered CMA!
