CMA is wonderful! I have thoroughly enjoyed my piano lessons there. There are a lot of different learning opportunities for children and adults

A wonderful place for people of all ages who aspires to make music. The faculty is both caring and diverse. This is a unique place that caters to all ages and all styles.

I have been taking lessons at CMA for many years. To date, I have had 5 different teachers. As those teachers moved from the area to follow their musical careers, CMA provided me with a wonderful teaching staff choose a replacement. Every teacher I’ve had a CMA has been professional, flexible and enthusiastic. I learned so much from each one of them.

Most recently at CMA, I have attend weekly private lessons with Greg Nolan for almost a year. He is one of those rare teachers that recognize me, as an adult student, who is pursuing a hobby, not a career. He understands that practice sometimes must give way to that pesky full-time paying job and he willingly does “refresh” lessons, as need... Sometimes more than once.

Under his guidance, I feel my technique on the violin has improved and there has been a remarkable change in the quality of sound when I play; he is helping me find my confidence. His excitement for his craft is infections. It’s heard when he plays, but also in the charismatic way in which he conveys the feeling and dynamics of a piece.

I also participate in a string quartet and we see Greg on a monthly basis for coaching. He brings the same excitement and charisma to those sessions as well. I am very impressed with our progress as a group.

Thanks to CMA, all my previous teachers and Greg for your support in my quest to conquer the violin:)

My son took voice lessons with Paul several years ago. I started in adult group piano lessons, and then moved into private lessons. Have been playing for a few years now. This is a wonderful way to learn an instrument in a no pressure, fun atmosphere with great teachers. Excellent music academy
