Comfort Inn Downtown reviews
39 In town for the Firestone golf tournament and Cleveland Indian game. Had some problems with reservation and housekeeping. Complained to desk. Next day General Manager called me, was extremely professional. Apologized for my inconvenience and took care of me for a future stay.
I am grateful for the quick and professional response. Comfort Inn has won my approval for many future stays. From out of state I visit the Cleveland area at least 8 times a year. I enjoy the city.
Good location with on site parking. Elevators are a little slow. Decent breakfast. Friendly service at all times of day, but the only bottled water is from vending machines.
Well maintained hotel.clean and comfortable room.manager and staff are extremely kind and accomadating
Beware giving your credit card to this hotel. I stayed for two nights July 6 and 7, and was charged for three. Still not rectified. Will never stay again. Terrible customer service.
The people are very friendly. The driver that took us to Cleveland clinic from the comfort inn was very informative about the area
This place is in a very convenient place for visiting Playhouse Square and is right off I77. Staff were welcoming and the breakfast was great for a hotel at this price range. Room was a little small, but was clean. Parking was free. I would recommend this place.
Our room was street side and the noises we're horrible. They couldn't move us because they were full. Won't stay here again.
Stayed overnight for a weekend trip to Cleveland in the Playhouse Square area to see a touring show. Hotel is well kept, equipped and clean but is an older building. Housekeeping did a good job, and parking was easy and accessible.
During a recent 39 day stay at this Comfort Inn, I experienced an exceptionally clean, well run hotel with professional and friendly staff throughout. Of particular note were the shuttle drivers who transported us between the hotel and the Cleveland Clinic. Each were responsible and caring people. Especially I appreciated a driver named John Lois who was very helpful, fun-loving and never failed to make sure every passenger arrived safely and had his warmth of concern for them and their hospitalized loved-one. I definitely recommend this hotel.
The cons were the room was warm even on the lowest a.c. Setting & also the water temp was kinda cold. The bathrooms are really small & there was a little mold or something above shower stall. Pros are that the hotel is in a great location & the parking is fairly reasonable & very convenient and the room itself was very clean. The staff was friendly & I would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn Downtown. The rooms were a bit small and the building old, but it was clean and well maintained. It was the perfect location for non-locals, like ourselves, because it is just a short walk to many restaurants and Playhouse Square. Plus, it's located right off I77. The continental breakfast was plentiful and the staff was friendly. We plan to go back in October for another show, and we will definitely be staying at the Comfort Inn Downtown.
Beds were nice and soft. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was tiny. Good pressure In the shower. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the main restaurants
The price is a little expensive, but worst part is that the parking cost 9.50 per day and the room is kinda dirty, not your best choice
Great hotel very clean. The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was great, and John the shuttle driver was extremely helpful and friendly
Room was good but dated. Small bath! Clean. Way overpriced but all are was booked due to special event.
The hotel is in an addome location to reach downtown. The inside is a little dated but it's still comfortable. Breakfast was ok.
Stayed there for 2 days, clean room, great bed, wonderful staff. Will definitely stay there again.
The rooms are clean and spacious. Convenient location with affordable parking. I'd stay here again the next time I'm in town.
