Conrad's Tire Express & Total Car Care, Willoughby OH

We took a car from a dealership in Eastlake to this company on 7/7/22 to complete an AAA used car inspection. James and his staff were efficient, courteous and timely. Not only did James give us a written list of the problems with the car, he also provided us with a video of the inspection. It showed multiple problems which would require thousands of dollars in repairs. We are grateful to honest companies which save used car purchasers money, headaches and unnecessary frustration. See James and his staff before you buy a used car. You might also want to purchase some tires. Thank you.

I called to make an appointment for 9: 00am and the car was dropped off and the employees said that they have it set as a drop off and they will get to it when they get to it. I had an appointment for 9: 00 not a drop off! They refused to help me and said they did not have time to work on my vehicle right now. My family and I have been going to Conrad’s for the last 20+ years. Well they lost our business. They have terrible customer service and do not know how to work with people.

Looked at my vehicle right away. After a short delay concerning parts confusion, repaired and back on the road. Would recommend.

The first guy during dropoff was obviously frustrated just to be at work. Took them 3 days to do a single tire that I brought in. Plus I had to call them they did not contact me at any time.

The most trusted and professional staff in all of NE Ohio! No fear as a woman coming in with car trouble. They took care of me like I was their family or friend. I will always take our vehicles to Willoughby Conrad’s!

Okay customer service.
But why do you schedule so many appointments for the same time? It makes the wait so much longer. I had to remove a couple stars.

Made an appointment online and received email confirmation for my appointment but when I arrived at the shop they had no record of my appointment. I drove there on a donut so this was very irritating to have wasted four miles on a company who couldn't see me when they promised to see me.

Kane always gets me the best possible price and schedules the right services I need and his team of mechanics always does an amazing job thanks fellas keep up the great work!

Bad service and unprofessional staff.took my tire in to get patched and filled.tire is returned and within 2 days is still leaking air to the point of going flat over night. Take it back to get fixed, it will be a 3+ hour wait or can you come back in a few days. Are you kidding me? Tire plug takes 30mins, drop what you are doing and fix your mistake? Do you just expect the customer to drive around and fill up everywhere they go for the next few days, while possibly destroying their tire or getting into an accident? Seriously just a bunch of clowns running the show at here.

I stopped going here due to the fact that EVERY time I took my car in and it should be noted that it has been several over the years, a few weeks later another problem would occur. I found that to be somewhat strange but I didn't think it was something I should ignore. Needless to say I haven't been back and no more issues

On 1/25/21, I took my 2013 Ford Escape into Conrads for a routine oil change. Services were completed and my car was returned to me that day. On 2/22/21 while driving home from work to Kingsville, OH from Willoughby, OH my car suddenly made a loud cracking noise and my car went utterly limp and stopped accelerating or running. I pulled over on the side of the road and opened my engine compartment and there was a fire. I immediately called 911 and was dispatched a Highway State Patrolman and a Fire Crew. After the car was safe to be around again the towing company, the highway state patrolman, and myself all noticed that my oil cap was left off of my engine causing oil loss and the engine to seize and causing the fire. Conrads has since offered me a reimbursement of the oil change while I am here put in danger from this situation, my wife and children who also rode in my car were put in danger and now with no vehicle to get to and from work.

Absolutely wonderful staff. Efficient and knowledgeable. Got a new full set of tires and alignment done today in pretty decent time (considering its that time of year everyone decides they need tires and they were SUPER BUSY) (Bonus they didnt mind that I had my toddler (in stroller) waiting with me)

Employees seemed like they had no desire to do any work. Pulled in to get a simple tire plugged and they told me would have to leave the truck, could be an all day thing. Unbelievable, I understand that they were probably busy but your talking about a ten minute job. I've had plenty of busy places take care of a quick plug in no time. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here

The front desk guy was super friendly and helpful. While I was waiting for my new tire, I watched and listened to him handle call after call as well as the steady stream of walk-ins and appointments. This guy was polite and respectful to everyone. He’s a keeper!

I needed my brakes and my tires replaced. I brought my car in and it was complete that morning. The staff was knowledgeable and courtious.

Dave was extremely nice, from the moment I walked in. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely plan to go back for any of my car needs

Was hoping to have a tire repaired after picking up a large piece of metal, alas the puncture was too close to the side. Replaced two tires for a decent price including extra road hazard coverage.

Fair price on oil changes and they've always done me right when I've went there. Audi of Mentor wanted to charge me $180 for an oil change, Conrad's charged me under $40.

A bit pricey and “no offers available” or offered. But, LOVE the video update/feed of what is being done/needed! If wasn’t so expensive would be 5 stars.

Always go to this Conrad’s for car work, never had to complain or bring my car back in after a repair.very close to my job so I can walk if I need to drop off my car. Sometimes repairs become costly but I’d say they’re pretty straightforward and no bs with the prices.
