Always delicious. Great variety to order from the menu or enjoy the full buffet. They even had a pumpkin dessert on the buffet today. The service is pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is clean and welcoming.

Nice atmosphere. Country style cooking. Thier food is good. Staff are friendly. They have a bakery in the same building as the restaurant. Their hotel is just across the parking lot.

Gave 4 stars because unique, clean and friendly staff however, was expecting good home cooked dinner and was not. Served pulled pork with beef gravy when I ordered roast pork dinner.husband ordered swiss steak which is made with mushrooms and tomato based gravy. Got cubed steak with brown gravy. Very disappointed

The food is really over priced and not that impressive. A big disappointment for Amish cooking. But it is beautiful and there is plenty of seating, and it's always very clean.

Dinner buffet was very good. What it lacks in variety it makes up for in quality. The different variations of chicken were all tasty, the stuffing was awesome, the beef was extremely tender. Didn't try the ham but it looked pretty good. Also didn't try the salad bar but it appeared to have all the things you'd expect. There was cherry cobbler, bread pudding and chocolate cream cake for desserts and all three were excellent. Great price - $15 plus $2.50 for a bottomless drink.

Sorry to say this place was unimpressive. Lived in Lancaster County PA. For 20+ years. Their many"Amish style" buffets far exceeded this one in flavor and quality. Many items appeared to be from cans or pre-packaged. Came here with great anticipation.

Home style cooking that is very good. Baked chicken at its best! The buffet also has a battered chicken. Very tender and juicy roast beef and some other meats. Then, noodles, mashed potatoes, vegetables etc. A salad bar is also included and has much to choose from. Some unusual items as well. Then they have a few desserts but I didn't get that far!

The main meat on the buffet was chicken. The crust tasted slightly scorched, and my chicken breast was raw inside. The vegetables had no taste. I was really unhappy with the restaurant overall.

After hearing how great they were supposed to be, I was disappointed by their buffet. Golden Corral, Ponderosa, and Quinets in New Martinsville had many more choices.

This was a great treat! We went after the play at the State Theatre and were seated soon after arriving. The staff are cheerful and were there for whatever we needed. It's buffet-style, but was delicious and it did not have the typical "buffet taste", but rather home-made! You have to try it!

This restaurant is amazing! They have a buffet style h you can also order from a menu! Food is all homemade! There is also a hotel that you can stay at called the Carlisle Inn.

Great homestyle food, however for the price of the adult buffet, you really only are getting unlimited salad, maybe a couple of pieces of chicken, and dessert (which just appeared like filler food, and I passed on) ; great, honest and friendly place, but my husband and I spent over $30 and he and I both left still hungry.

Sooooo disappointed in the food. We waited in line to eat here and the food was thaw-and-serve and can opener fodder. Nothing tasted homemade. Although it was busy, our server was attentive, which is nice. The gift shop is nice also and the bakery seemed decent looking. Although after the terrible breakfast I didn't bother trying the bakery food.

Save up your calorie allotment to eat here.food that reminds me of my grandmothers', but maybe even better. We had a lunch buffet and brought 2 pies home. Mostly attentive service even with a buffet (our waitress checked in several times after the initial drink orders). Popular for good reason.

We never miss dining here when we visit the area. Biggest fried chicken breast ever. Amish influence is nice.

Wow wow wow! This place rocks. Its in the country just a short drive from New Philadelphia Ohio. Large buffet, good menu, variety! Service from these ladies was very good! Dessert was excellent. Only ate here. They have a large bakery store for all your needs and even a hotel and country store. You can spend a lot of time here! Good place to visit! See you all next year 2019

This has been one of my most favorite places since I was a kid. I was thrilled to take my husband and son there on their first trip to Ohio and share my fond memories with them. Fried mush is amazing and you can't get anything like it in New Mexico, where I'm from.

Great Amish cooking. Desserts fantastic. Gift shop and bakery available. Large front porch with rockers to sit and enjoy the views.

Chose the lunch buffet and as always, the food was excellent and a wide variety to chose frome. Waitress are always pleasant and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit!
