Gates Mills Place, Mayfield Heights OH

I’ve recently moved here and so far I love it. It’s close to everything. I usually don’t write reviews but Damon that works in the south building is amazing he is very nice and goes out of his way to help you.

UPDATED REVIEW FOR MARCH 2020!

I have been living at Gates mills now for almost a year and I am happy to be renewing my lease.
I feel safe and secure in this community and I love my view! I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a long term and hopefully a forever home!

I really needed to give this review because Nicole the leasing manager is seriously a blessing to Gates Mills Place.
She was working very hard to make sure I was happy at all times in this entire process.
I move in on Friday and I am truly looking forward to meeting her.
Diana was also a huge help when I went to view my apartment on Saturday.
I will update my review when I officially move in and get settled but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nicole or Diana to assist anyone interested in Gates Mills Place.
These 2 woman are the true representative of amazing customer service.

My husband and I love Gates Mills Place! Our front desk representative Damon is always so pleasant and helpful, he always has a smile on his face. Everyone is so easy to get ahold of if there are any issues, I would highly recommend living here to just about anyone!

I love living in the south building! My representative in the building is Damon! He’s made sure that everything that is needed to be done gets done for me in a timely manner. He follows up with me after my maintenance requests. And is a joy to talk to when I’m in the Buisness center getting things done! Will definitely be staying in the south building for the entire time I live here

I live in the South Building at Gates Mills Place. It's a lovely, well maintained property.
Today I would like to give kudos to Mr. Damon Defreeze, our building manager. He is a very polite, professional young man. I appreciate that in spite of the circumstances, he always has a smile and a kind word to say.
I also love the fact that when it comes to claiming a package left at the front desk, he doesn't assume you are the person entitled to receive the package. He always asks for identification.
The other day I didn't bring down my wallet, so I didn't have any I. D.on me. But When I went to get my mail he followed me to the mail room, with my package in hand. Once he confirmed my identity from my mail he gave me my package. Now that's customer service!

Although I’ve just moved in my experience has already been nothing short of amazing. Sharon was a complete joy, she made everything super comfortable and easy for me. I loved the model apartment she showed me but when I seen my actual apartment, to my surprise it was updated and way more spacious which was a great added plus to my experience! The only negative is that the walk from my door to the parking lot is extremely far and i don’t feel too safe walking alone, especially at night. If my fob had access to the doors in the back of my building it wouldn’t be as bad, but i only have access in the front door.

Gates Mills Place is a great apartment complex. All of the staff is really helpful and kind especially Damon DeFreeze who is at the front desk in south building. He makes sure that if you have any problems or need anything fixed that it gets done in a timely manner. I am lucky to have him in my building. And I am really thankful for
Nicole St. Pierre who helped me find my new apartment. She made the process easy and effortless even though I know that I was a bit of a pain by being so indecisive. Thank you to everyone.

Diana was so nice to me showing me the apartments and she made sure every option was made available to me. Her service was an A+. She made sure I was taken care of throughout the process of looking at apartments.

Decent place to live although the parking garage could use some major upgrades because it leaks, the gym could use newer equipment and the elevators break down every weekend so maintenance is definitely needed there. Overall it’s a quite place to live at least my floor is. I also think the office staff is nice. David and Linda are especially good. And our CS desk person Damon Defreeze Is awesome, he is always friendly, polite and helpful.

Gates Mills place is very convenient for me, I have a short commute to work and stores and freeway are very close. I live in the south building and damon has been very helpful every day. He helped locate a missing package with the wrong apartment number as an
address for me.

My Family and I have lived in the West building for over 3 years. The location is very convenient to work, shopping and I love the school district for my kids. I also enjoy our customer service representative Ms. Anita she is very helpful, courteous, efficient and kind. When I walk in from work she always take the time out of her day to speak & ask me about my day. I enjoy having her in the building. Thanks for always being so SWEET Ms. Anita

I love this place! It's clean, and well maintained. The staff is friendly, and our building customer service representative, Damon DeFreeze is awesome. Always pleasant, friendly, and professional!

I've been living here for over a year months now and it's been great. It's a big complex but the people I've met are friendly and mostly quiet. Maintenance is usually very responsive to requests and price is reasonable for the area. Nikki's been super helpful when I need to communicate with the property managers office. My front desk worker Damon Defreeze is awesome! He is super helpful and always attentive!

Damon DeFreeze is top-notch at the front desk in the south building! He is courteous, professional and great about securing packages. Also, he helps my mother with her utilizing the meeting room for her weekly Bible study meeting.

We live in the South Tower and we have the best guy at the front desk, Damon DeFreeze! He’s the man! Best attention, and he’s always ready to provide the best possible assistance, also people here is very nice, and we have a great indoor pool and party room!

Move in to Gates Mills Place was made easy by Ms Diane. She made sure everything was in place before we moved in and accommodated many of my request prior to move. Apartment that we have is spacious and well kept. I will strongly recommend Gates Mills Place.

Damon has been exceptionally helpful, professional and extremely pleasant to deal with. He has always ensured that our service requests were forwarded immediately and followed up with us each time to make sure they were responded to our satisfaction. He is a great asset to K & D.

I recently moved into Gates Mills Place and have really enjoyed it here. The staff has been wonderful, especially Damon at the front desk. He’s been very helpful getting me moved in and acclimated to the building.

My experience here was great! I lived in the south building in the middle, and one of the best parts was the great tenant service at the desk at the lobby, the guy, named Mr. DeFreeze, was so polite and glad to help the experience was fantastic!
