Giant Eagle Supermarket reviews
25The north olmsted stories bigger than the one in berea near me. It has a bigger selection of everything. The sale prices are competitive with the other stores I shop at.
It's been over 6 months since they had the Chicken Bruschetta Seasoning on their shelves.otherwise, a fairly decent store.
Shame on you giant Eagle for trying to profit off covid knowing the community is suffering out work when you can go to hospital or other places and get vaccine for free just goes show you Giant Eagle doesn't care about the customers who are most important that keeps them in business shame on you for soaring pharmacy prices the meds i use to get from you for 80 dollars for my elderly mom i get at metro for 10 dollars shame on you greedy
It was a first class supermarket. With a good selection and fresh food. A good selection of flowers
Covid compliant. However with as physically large the store is and a part of a huge company, I was so disappointed that they did not stock espresso pods for nespresso like machines.
After living in Brooklyn and moving to Berea I miss our giant eagle because this one does not have the food bars or even a big beer selection.
Always has what I need and plenty more. The workers are always super nice especially the cashier Dawn. She always hold a conversation with me and doesn't make it awkward. My favorite place to shop.
I should know better, but still went to this GE in Berea and did not find what I went for again. Nothing even exotic.just regular GE pulp free OJ. None to be found. This store never seems to have stock of regular items. Last time I was there, I found outdated items on the shelves.
I don't see any fresh rolls anywhere at the bakery been there several times to check In the hot food section the chicken never seems fresh in always seems very dry the fried chicken Alote of the items are very pricey un less less you get things on sale!
Nice place to shop for grocery. A little more expensive but the quality of the product is better.
Produce was definitely lacking, moldy cherry tomatoes and spuds growing on the potatoes. Everything else was perfectly fine.
Not enough cashier's open. Friday morning and the lines were 5 and 6 people deep. Many elderly people and the comments being made were very negative.
They have great meats, if you buy the meat they have on sale you can do good. Bakery is good, deli and produce. Some prices are high.
Outdated and small, short staffed, unfriendly except for a very select few employees. Has a lot of potential but the motivation just doesn't seem to be there
For the most part, Giant Eagle stores are pretty similar across the board. A little more pricey than other stores, and not really deservedly so. This particular store is one of the smaller ones, no not the greatest selection. Especially if you are looking for ethnic food. However, the produce section is good, and everyone there has always been very friendly to me. It's close to my house and convenient, so I go there often, and it's my home pharmacy.
Giant Eagle is the big regional supermarket chain in Northeast Ohio and elsewhere. As such they have the biggest stores. Prices are okay but Marc's tends to be cheaper. Produce is decent but not outstanding. Recently GE seems to be cutting back on some specialty items, which is a shame as that is what I use them for.
Its great seeing a lot of local kids growing into the workforce, Giant Eagle is part of our community.
GIANT EAGLE IS QUITE PRICEY AND THEREE CAHIERS ARE ADEQUATE BUT NOT THE FRIENDLIEST IN TOWN ALSO THEY DONT CARRY A LOT THINGS I LIKE THAT ARE HEALTHY WIILLIMIT MY VISITS TO THIS STORE
Kind of disappointed, no eagles of any sort, let alone giant ones. I am not certain that giant eagles would buy anything outside of the decent meats and dishes departments. It's not to bad for humans, but I wish they had more choices in chickens. Pretty decent produce, especially in season.
