29Better vegetables than Acme Fresh Market. Also we bought a bakery bread called boulle, a round Italian bread, that was better than Trader Joe's. A really nice bread.

Produce area is nice, but the rest is kind of tight and dated. The food selections are consistent with other stores.
Anyone who cooks knows the purpose of buttermilk in baking is to and fat to increase fluffyness and sweetness. This Giant Eagle only sells buttermilk made with 1% milkfat. It's useless.
Great selection for regular groceries and even some exotic/ethnic foods. Like others have said, the check out lines can be long.
They need to have the 3 to 4 butchers SERVE the customers waiting for shrimp, fish and beef specialty cuts!
Giant Eagle honors its guarantee if something rings up wrong. I bought some ice cream that did not ring up on sale, and noticed it at the register. After mentioning it, they gave the item to me for free, which was unexpected and really cool.
