Grandview Apartments by Albion, Columbus OH

I've lived here for 2 1/2 years through the switch in property managers and name change and overall it's been a decent experience. It's a great location, reasonably priced, and the office staff is friendly and helpful.
Maintenance requests take longer to address than they should. I understand they're renovating the community, but most of those crews are outside construction companies. If they're having an issues with getting maintenance requests resolved, additional staff should be hired. Some requests take over 4 weeks to be addressed. Albeit my requests were minor and not life threatening. Maybe more urgent issues would've received more attention.
The renovations look great, but seem to be just that, appearance. I understand that's what sells, but more focus should be put on what more benefits the resident in the long run (new windows, entry doors, and patio doors, as well as more reliable and efficient systems such as water heater and HVAC)
I was told they were soon renegotiating the terms of the bundled utilities, which is a good move as they are too expensive now for what they cover (cable, water, sewer & trash)
Don't view this as too negative of a review. There are great things about living here and others that could use some attention, but I dont view those negatives as items to deter anyone from living here.

I have lived here for 2.5 years and the new ownership has finally taken the next step for this community. All the new amenities (dog park!) are coming along nicely. The staff is great and always super helpful. My only complaint has been maintenance times which I am hoping improve as Village Green has owned the property for longer.

My partner and I recently re-signed on for another year due to the management change and beautiful renovations. The staff is incredibly friendly and always around to help!

I've stayed at Grandview Apartments through the recent ownership change and I am SO HAPPY with that decision. The new ownership is renovating the entire complex and has been extremely accommodating. The leasing office staff is very pleasant and straight-forward, handling themselves with high standards of respect and integrity. The grounds and maintenance staff are friendly and approachable. Great location. Great people. Great place to stay! Would recommend to anyone.

Terrible quality apartments, (AC always breaking, thin walls, bug infestations, rats running around, etc) and worse staff. Took 2 weeks to even get our AC looked at let alone fixed, only reason this place is ranked somewhat well is the $50 incentive to write a favorable review if you lived there. Poor communication between staff and residents, personally told me prorated rent to pay (which was paid) and then threatened eviction without any warning claiming that I did not pay enough when in fact they calculated the wrong rent and failed to reach out. No benefits to this place whatsoever with increasing prices. Gate is rarely locked which can allow for potential break ins (Two which have happened already this summer). DO NOT LIVE HERE, would not recommend to anyone.
