Hyatt Regency Cincinnati

Overpriced and should be avoided

Positive side - Room was clean

Negative side -
1. No mini fridge in the room. Cheap hotels have both of these yet Hyatt doesn't? Ridiculous. We asked for a fridge, they said they would bring one and never did.
2. No complementary breakfast like most hotels. Not even free coffee in the lobby! Instead they had a market that sold burnt coffee for ridiculous prices
3. No cleaning services. We asked for bath towels and they dropped off hand towels.
4. No complementary parking. Seriously can't provide free or even reduced rate parking? Instead they offer valet parking to the public parking lot across the street which they charge more than if your parked yourself.

How can a Hyatt in downtown Cincinnati be so cheap? I could have stayed at a Motel 6 and gotten a fridge, breakfast, and maid service!?

Stay awake from here! Go somewhere else!

Really couldn’t have been more let down by a hotel. Chose to stay here for a night out for my wife’s birthday, but in hindsight should have chosen another hotel downtown. We requested a crib for our stay and did not receive a crib at any point during our stay. I suppose we should have asked ahead of time, but we were excited to get room service since we don’t get to go out to eat as often with our two young children. Room service was not available and we had to settle on going to get carry out. When we got in our room we found a hairy and sticky nerf dart on the floor and mold around the AC vent. We tried to fill up our water bottle at the bottle fill up attached to the water fountain, but neither that nor the water fountain were working. We tried getting drinks from the vending machine but it didn’t take cash and wouldn’t take any of our 3 credit cards. We went downstairs to the small mart they have at the lobby to get a thing of milk for our son, but they didn’t have milk for sale. And although inconsequential, the clock in the room didn’t even have the right time, not that this was an issue but paying almost $200 for less than a 24 hour stay, you’d think things would be set up better than that. Would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in downtown Cincinnati choose any hotel but this one.

The hotel itself is great, I am reviewing the cafe in the lobby. There was a young lady with brown hair working there that was so rude that we decided to cancel our drink orders and go to an actual Starbucks.

Rooms need deep cleaning after being closed allowing musty smell. Also restaurant needs staff handle conventions

Service was good. They complied with requests for additional water and repair quickly. The bad parts were that things needed repair in the first place. The sink drain and iron was broken.

Excellent accommodations, room was very nice and clean. Very convenient to downtown, stadiums, etc. Breakfast buffet was the best I have seen at a hotel. Woild highly recommend The Hyatt.

This was a nice place to stay. Comfortable rooms. It was clean. I would recommend and I would stay here again.

Was a great stay, only complaint is we had called down to front desk/kitchen a few times and got no answer or waited on hold for over 10 minutes

Rooms are nice. Staff is super helpful and very friendly. My room rate included breakfast (very good) but my daughter suffers from anxiety and can't handle crowded breakfast areas.waitress brought me a to go container and told me to get breakfast for her. "Cooler" was a bit different.would rather have a fridge.

Fantastic, courteous staff, well furnished rooms, fast internet, all in the heart of downtown Cincinnati

Good location and a nice hotel. I didn't find the bed super comfortable but the room and internet were adequate.

Building looks outdated from the outside but the inside has been renovated including the rooms. Across the street from 84.51 and includes Skywalk connections to surrounding buildings

Excellent accommodations. Excellent staff and service. Excellent fitness center. 4 treadmills, 3 ellipticals, 3 bikes, weights, benches, bands, stationary equipment. I was part of a 4000-member conference and there was no slack in service or excellence due to the large numbers. Great choice for the conference accommodations. Will definitely put this on my "best hotels" list.

Location is close to food and the Ohio river. Room and room service is great only down fall is parking is 30 dollars a day.

Room was awesome and the staff was incredibly professional. Would stay there again if we ever go back to Cincinnati.

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our room was like new. It was very spacious. The pool was clean and relaxing. We also enjoyed the fitness center. There was a lot to see and do all within walking distance. Looking forward to a return visit.

My room is ready with all the things I like in it including my $20 Snack Pack but hey I don't have to go shopping for snacks while I'm here for 5 days

Wow, do not come here. I have spent time at a lot of places all over the country/planet, and have never been treated as rudely as I was by the guy that was staffing the desk tonight. (If Hyatt cares enough to read this, he's the one with the pink tie. You know the one.)

Beautiful room but no exhaust fan for your shower which left a steamy mess. And smokers are out front due to no designated smoking area.

Outstanding! From the time we walked in everyone was delightful and very helpful. Especially since we were there for a wedding they made sure the stress was off our shoulder! Thank you for outstanding service!
