Maumee Bay State Park reviews
30Perfect place for a family reunion! Lots to do and sitting areas for chats to catch up. Staff is absolutely wonderful!
Have loved this place since the campgrounds opened. It's awesome to see how it's grown and developed.
I loved the Maumee Bay area it was fun and me and my family had so much fun except for my brother throwing sand at me
Overall park is great. The new "archery range " is disappointing though. I'm not sure who designed it, but as a competitive target archer and coach, I won't go back. Not easy to get to. Not handicap friendly at ALL. However the nature center, and boardwalk are fantastic.
Good family outdoor fun nice hiking trail. The water is usually clean until late summer when the algae gets bad. But all and all a great place for a BBQ or party's of all kinds.
Clean beach. Ample parking and facilities. Water quality is normally not that great, but not something you can control (algae from farm runoff).
This place has a lot to do for Toledo.swimming, nature trail, playground, fishing, etc.
I don't know if I'd actually recommend swimming here though. The water is pretty dirty; you can't see more than 6 in.through the water. There was also a sign that said there was high bacteria in the water, and that is a little concerning.
Clean, really well manicured. It doesn't feel like a state park. Campground is fantastic, seems really quiet.
Great place to take the kids swimming for the day. The park is clean. There are tons of baby sea shells on the shore for collecting. The views are also very beautiful.
