Hardware Store Menards reviews
28I bought kitchen countertops for work and haven't had any problems with them so far. This is the fifth countertop I've purchased there.
Ok when I realized I could get candy and a nail puller for my upholstery projects here the day got alot better.
The store employees in Tipp City were fantastic. My problem order was correct when we left store. Order was incomplete and wrong products were shipped. Returned to store and was told restocking fee would apply. Menards made mistake and charges customer to return their mistake. Their return policy in this case is ridiculous.
Always a quick and easy stop. Def call ahead to see what your local store has for open hours and wood products for fencing.
Good selection and great sale prices with a very helpful staff makes this Menard's one if my go to places when I need anything from appliances to lumber. They would get 5 stars if their delivery prices were more in line with Home Depot. Home Depot has the lowest delivery charges in this area as things stand now.
The Lowes Huber Heights location needs to improve on their customers service. And they dont have enough people. One time I approached a guy at the counter, the guy was writting something, he didnt even look up to say "i will be right with you" or something like that. So I stood there like an invisibleman, then left, at this point he said "can i help you" but I kept on walking away. The next incident, it was 8: 15 pm or so, we rung rung rung the buzzer and the announcement confirms that the customer is waiting for assistant. There was a lady there after she helped a customer, she disappeared.we stood there for at least 10 minutes then left disappointed. We went to Menards in Tipp city, made it there around 8: 35pm. There were "3 very helpful guys there and we were in and out in 15 minutes plus for the same thing, we will get %11 rebate. Menards will be my first choice store now.
Joy is the best cashier in the world. I have been wanting to write a review for 9 or 10 months now, probably - I wasn't feeling well, back pain, and Joy volunteered to bag ALL of my purchases. I haven't been to Menards since the mandatory Mask Rule but I still love the Tipp city store. I am from the Dayton area and it's worth the drive. Thanks Joy, for being so awesome. - I won't forget it.
Great place. Customer service is awesome. I live 1.4 miles from lowes in Huber. Drive right by going to Tipp City. Menards is Number 1 in my book. Thank you. Deputydog.
Easily got help answering questions about a lawn mower. They put it on the cart for me and it was loaded into my car quickly.
Always pleasant. Workers are very friendly and helpful. Never seem to mind if you ask a question or need help. Hats off to a management that keeps everything so positive and friendly.
It's nice to go to a box hardware store and have a worker ask if you need. There were many sales associates throughout the store to answer questions. Great job!
I need a really good water softener and I saw some online. Went to actually see them in the store.but they only carry the one piece that can't hold up to my water. Very disappointed.
Has some things you won't find in the other big name home stores. People are friendly. 5 stars for all the effort.
They moved the framing lumber outside. Now you have to wait at the contractors desk to place your order, then drive around. All I need is 3 2x4x8s. Looks like Lowe's from now on.
Everything you could possibly need under one roof! And everything you could possibly not need as well!
I really like Menards it has a bigger selection of items than Lowe's and home Depot every time I go there they always have what I need at a better price.
Fantastic selection and service. It's a 20 min trip out of my way (compared to Lowe's across the street), but I've always had an incredible experience at Menards - Tipp City. Their prices are more or less comparable to other big name hardware stores, and their lumber leaves alot to be desired (more than 1/2 of the dimensional lumber was warped).
They are remodeling the store!
You have to look for things now but the selection is fantastic. It's amazing a must go and see.
Huge "big box" home improvement store with everything else from cereal - cosmetics - model trains- work clothes. Seem to carry range from economical to high end of most home improvement items. Bring your walking shoes.
Went to shop, no handicap cart to ride. Asked and they couldn't find any.walked store then asked for assistance out to car, was told by cashier we don't do that here. Now I remember why I don't shop in the store hardly anymore. Need to have more than two handicap carts to ride.
