Brake Shop Midas reviews
25Mike to very good care of my situation. Very friendly staff. Would recomend this midas store to my friends and family!
I had an air leak in a tire so I went to Midas where I bought my tires for them to check it. They were able to look at it fairly quickly and found a slow leak which they corrected. I have had several issues since I bought my tires there, but each time they quickly took care of the issues and were able to get me on my way. They also give a 10% veterans discount which always helps out when you're on a fixed income!
I made an appointment at 9 am for an oil change and to check my tire pressure. It is going on 11 a.m and I am still waiting to hear something about my car. Why do you take appointments if you don't have people here to work on my car?
They had my car for 12 days, fixed all this stuff THAT DIDN'T EVENT NEED TO BE FIXED. Taxed me $2,700 and 10 minutes AFTER picking my car up, it broke down on the side of the road. When I called to tell them, they told me they tested drived it etc. So long story short, do not go to Midas. They don't know what they are doing, just run up a bill without knowing the real problem.
I’m only 22 but I’m not ignorant. I’m taking my business ANYWHERE else. Here’s the scoop: so I took a manual Mini Cooper in and was told the transmission was the issue and I would have to purchase the set of clutch and transmission in order to fix my car due to the BMW transmission being sealed. I called other garages and they told me it sounds like a clutch issue not the transmission, and that there is no such thing as sealed transmissions. I went somewhere else and they confirmed the transmission is fine and the clutch was burnt out. This Midas manager didn’t look me in the eye as he gave me his analysis, the guy seemed like he couldn’t stop fumbling his hands. The guys that work on the cars are great. The manager seems like he went for his dream job, missed, and ended up at Midas.
