Montgomery Inn- The Boathouse, Cincinnati OH

We reserved a private room for a group of fifteen people for my grandma's 80th birthday party and it was a terrific experience! Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was great. They even brought her out a birthday dessert. I will be back for more ribs soon!

We were told it was a 30-45 minute wait. We had to wait an hour and a half and the hostess was so rude. Then the food took so incredibly long. Not going back.

The boathouse is a great place for dinner or just a few drinks in the second floor bar while watching the river. Montgomery Inn has become a Cincinnati tradition and one of the best places to eat in the city.

The absolute best place for ribs in the Tri-state! St Louis style smoked full or half rack is an excellent choice. Bar staff upstairs were great getting drink order satisfied for our party of four.

What an experience! First and foremost, the view of the river and skyline is delightful. The service was great and I really appreciated the personal touch of the manager stopping by to make sure everything was great. We really enjoyed everything we ate and left stuffed.

Great food. Good service. Extremely expensive. Way more than the norm but it IS an upscale place so I guess I should expect it.
Trouble is that the drinks only cost about 50c-1.00 to make and the markup us absurd and when you tally in the tip and taxes, what should have been like a 100.00 check turns closer to 200.00.
If your funds are unlimited you're golden but if you're a pomofonodoughbro like me. Nothing we bought there couldn't have been washed down with a much less pricey drink

Service was awesome, waiter was helpful and checked on us frequently. Food was very good, although the chips were a little sticky/clumpy. Other than that all good!

Very nice dining experience. Easy going and friendly atmosphere. Wonderful service and delicious food. My only issue was the tables were so close together that it was hard to tell where one table ended and where one began. I was there on a date and the date was wonderful. Unfortunately it lacked the intimacy we would have liked better for such an occasion.

Took the hubby here for his birthday. And he is a rib lover! He said these were the best ribs he ever had, and the service was exceptional! We will definitely be back!

It was our first visit. The food was very good, the staff was kind and helpful, and the views from the outdoor seating areas were nice. Highly recommend.

Attended a USO event. Service was great.the food left a little to be desired. They most likely didnt pick the menu but they made the food.improvements could have been made to both

I enjoyed my rib dinner. The meal was served hot. The meat was tender and spicy. The service was good.

Food and service just isn't what it used to be. Even the atmosphere as s many people were coming in wearing swim shorts and flip flops.

Went there after a Reds game, the ribs were more sauced than some of the people who sat near us in the stadium (haha), great atmosphere and service, downright the best ribs and sauce in the country. Also, lovely views of the Ohio River and Newport, Kentucky on the other side. I’d come back again.

I chose to dine without a bib and I did not get anything on me! Ribs are fantastic as always. Incredible view as well.

Waitress was nice. Ribs are way overrated. Smoked ribs were overcooked. The sauce was too sweet. Brisket was over cooked and tasteless. Nice restaurant though. Would go again and try something else.

It was a great experience and the food is mouth watering at sight and it melts in your mouth. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Ribs were a bit too sweet for me, and a bit dry. For the amount of build up to them, I was underwhelmed. Pork chop was well cooked and well seasoned though. Service was very good.
