25 I call the cty office I was put on hold, then disconnected after 15 minutes twice
Then call Pickerington, their office said they were close at 2pm.
But they were not
I've never had any issues at South Highs St. Always had a good visit and enjoy laughing and interacting with the staff. I think the Covid protocol they have made the process quicker than usual.
We arrived late afternoon on a Friday to the Ohio BMV in Pickerington. I thought we would have to wait a long time. But to my surprise we waited a very short time. The system they implemented due to the pandemic is quite efficient. Thanks BMV!
Actually a very pleasant experience. Until she gave me the total. I told her she was not a cheap date.
Quick and easy. Went in and grabbed a virtual number. Was able to sit in my car and wait on a cold day. They use an outside PA system to announce number.
The majority of times, ive come here the customer service people are polite & very friendly & its always
Clean! & for how busy they are they are quick
Joke. Somehow they transferred my truck license plate to a trailer. Found out I was driving on trailer plates although my registration is for a truck. Wait to go! Not only that you wait 2 hrs every time you go in
I didn’t think it was possible for the BMV to be a bigger “clown show” than it already is, but once again they found a way to prove me wrong.
Showed up five minutes before the doors opened. Waited in line for 20 minutes, before a worker/clerk/ clown decided to notify everybody that their systems were not working and they are not able to register anyone.
Keep up the good work BMV.
Wonderful experience. I found a very professional Lady. She helped with my registration in no time. Great work.
We spoke to 3 different employees in 2 different days. First Lady we spoke to was a sweetheart and told us what we need to bring as we were missing some papers. Second time though after a very long wait in line we had the “privilege” to talk to a young lady, a very unwelcoming young lady. She dismissed us right away saying one of the papers was not good (not even for the reason that she was giving us, as she had to ask her manager). My wife tried to explain her that we came there before and the reason for the situation that she is in. The employees reaction? She threw all the papers on the counter in front of my wife saying WELL IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW BETTER THAN ME YOU CAN GO.what? My wife tried to tell her in a quiet tone that she understands that it’s been a long day but the employee turned her back and left. At that point my wife asked to talk to someone else as this was a very rude insulting way to threat us and the manager came as she saw the entire thing and we believe she was in in agreement with the employee’s behavior.
She explained everything in a quiet tone as we wanted from the beginning, no reason for everyone else to hear our conversation.
We are extremely disappointed and insulted after this experience. I guess it has to do with the fact that we have an accent and as someone else mentioned in their review you have to put up with being discriminated. We just moved to Ohio an this was a very “warm “ welcoming.
Great service at a great location. I prefer this location as everyone is polite, helpful, patient, and kind. I've never had a long wait at this location. I've never had an issue with getting anything done.
Assumed I was gonna write a bad review based off what I've read but no. Ticket numbers were confusing so missed my chance but luckily a lovely lady named liz saved the day and called me next. Reviews said employees suck but she was awesome with a friendly professional manner to her.
My experience has always been professional, courteous and frankly - somewhat quick. I really like this location and yes, I have been to several. This is the best. I realize that if you don't have the luxury of being here at an off-peak time, it can be crowded and feel understaffed. You may also have a completely different experience when it's crowded. I have only stood in a long line once; I chose to leave and come back when it was much less crowded. Five stars and high five to the staff.
Got there at 7: 45am for license, registration and plates, and there was already a line which only got longer until they opened. They went through the line quickly, but I had to get a new title for my car. The attendant told me to go next door to get the title, and come back and get her attention so that she could help me next instead of making me wait in line again. She was very fast and helpful. Was out the door within 20ish minutes.
Alyssa answered the phone and was absolutely rude and condescending. I am a customer service trainer and just a word of advice to the BMV please train your employees to efficiently and effectively service your customers. Having the ability to perform tasks shouldn’t be the only qualification needed when servicing customers. I was considering it but I will not go to this location.

The people were so kind and understanding. The wait was less than 20 minutes. Jessica took care of us. She was so patient and sweet with my dad, who is lind of hard of hearing. Even the other customers were nice!
Lovely lady named Liz helped me to renew my sticker for my plates today and her costumer Servise is by far the best!
Took my wife to get ID summer waites on us seemed nice untill my wife told her the color of her hair had been listed wrong so then after getting ready her photo summer comes up and says is her hair wrap for medical or religious reason really should it matter well she preceded to tell her go to the bath room pull her hair wrap back some so they could have her photo showing g she has Black hair really?
I went here Thursday January 31st and thought I was in for a long exhausting wait. However there was no wait and the representative that helped me was fast and got me in and out in no time!
