I had Ohio State Waterproofing do my basement 2 years ago. I recently had an issue with the pump not working correctly. They told me what to do/expect until they arrived. They came out immediately and fixed the issue. No problems with it since. Very easy.

I had my basement waterproofed inside and out. They did a very good job and were very professional. A couple of years later when I was having my driveway and rear patio replaced they came out and ensured that all of the waterproofing was intact. They worked with the other contractor and both did a great job. I always recommend Ohio State Waterproofing to anyone who asks.

Got an evaluation from Lee Lambert. Very nice person, arrived on time, talked straight to point, and gave honest and professional advice. He checked my basement for signs of moisture and mold, and found the problem is actually is from basement windows while the basement walls are ok so do not need waterproofing at this moment. Very impressed. Highly recommend.

We purchased a home three years ago and were pleasantly surprised to discover that it came with a lifetime transferable warranty. They came out to assess a crack in our foundation and fixed it right away. We had them come out to look at another issue and while it was not covered they were very knowledgeable to help us try to figure out what to do and how to fix it.

This is a bit awkward because I'm leaving a review for company that is somewhat a competitor for us. But I have to give credit where due. I was at home in north olmsted today doing a sanitary sewer dig up and repair. Ohio State was at same home doing a waterproof job. To say I'm impressed is colossal understatement. Their crew showed up early had what was short meeting planning their days work out then went right at it. Dillon and his crew of 5 total worked hard non stop all day! What they got done in one day was just amazing. Entire interior basement dug one day, pumps put in, all debris hauled up bucket by bucket and meticulously cleaned up after themselves. There was not one man on crew not drenched in sweat but they never stopped all day! More noteworthy is home owner was not home majority of day. So they weren't working like that to impress anyone. That tells me this is how hard they regularly work every day period. As another contractor I am floored and impressed by these guys!

I had our basement waterproofed in August of 1991. They have only been out I think twice since done for minor leaks. I love that it's all done by hand. No heavy equipment driving through your yard, no damage to landscaping or decks you may have near the jobsite. The guys actually had to hand dig out an area under the patio deck! No equipment could of done that! The yearly Service Agreement Renewal Ohio State charges is minimal and is a must have in my opinion! Thanks for the 27 years so far.

Moved into a house last year that had Ohio State Waterproofing, didn't pay the warranty because didn't think it applied to us. Called a few months later and spoke with a helpful person on the phone who explained the warranty information to me and re-sent me a helpful packed.

We chose Ohio State Waterproofing after a positive review from a friend and speaking with the sales people. Although it took 3 months to get started, we are happy that the job is complete. The foreman Greg, kept me informed as to each step and what to expect. All of the workers seemed to know their roles and there was no standing around waiting for an new task.

We recommend Ohio State Waterproofing. Sean spent quite a bit of time explaining what we needed and answer d all of our questions. When Jordan came out for a review of the estimate, he also spent a significant amount of time explaining and answering questions. Neither one of them pressured us or tried to sell us work that was not needed. We were anxious as it is a big investment and Jordon put us at ease. We did not feel pressured to make any decisions.

It has been 2 years now that we had our basement waterproofed. The guys worked efficiently but, I feel there were some things missed or a little sloppy. Overall we are happy with the outcome so far.

4 stars. Overall I am happy with our experience. The salesman was very knowledgable and patiently answered all of my questions - which he admitted were more specific than he was used to.

The work crews were great. The guys that installed the EZ Breathe were polite and professional. They told me what they were going to do and made sure I was okay with it before drilling the vent hole.

The work crew who came to dig up the basement and foundation were also great. Very polite and professional. We had a problem though. Our basement work was scheduled as a two day job. After the first day we got a heavy rain and the temporary pump they had installed failed and our basement began to flood. I was working out of town and my wife was home alone with our 2-year-old. She called our foreman, who did not answer. She called the main office and was met with an EXTREMELY rude guy who claimed to work in the IT Department (he identified himself as Jack Sharp). He said it was after business hours and there was nothing he could do. My wife called me very upset so I called the office myself. This Jack guy was extremely rude to me and even raised his voice telling me to "stop calling I'm just here to fix the computers. " So my wife had to get up every 20 minutes from 7PM to 8AM and bail water out of the basement with a bucket.

The foreman apologized profusely and admitted he had given my wife the wrong phone number to call. The guys quickly cleaned up the flooded basement and finished the job. They were all very, very nice and did a very clean, nice job. Unfortunately the crew forgot to plug in my greywater pump for the washing machine before they left, and also forgot to anchor the washer drain line (to the pump) to the wall. When my wife tried to do a load of laundry it sprayed dirty water all over the wall and ceiling!

I was able to buy the tools and materials to anchor the line properly and just did it myself. I called in to let the company know I wasn't happy about this, so they sent a manager out the following day. The manager was very understanding and admitted that the guys had made a mistake. He offered to buy my receipt from me for the cost of the tools and materials I had to buy to make it right, which I'm happy to say I was 100% refunded for.

Overall I'm happy with the work they did, I just wish we hadn't hit those few bumps in the road. I would advise anyone hiring this company to be there while they are working just to make sure everything is as you would like it, and definitely make sure everything is ready to go before they leave!

Since I was out of town and my wife works during the day, the crew was in our house alone. After meeting with the guys in the morning my wife felt very confident about leaving them there unsupervised. They were all very respectful of our house and our belongings.

I would strongly, STRONGLY advise the company to come up with some sort of actual after hours emergency number. The nasty IT guy basically telling us "Stop calling here I don't give a @h! T" was some of the worst customer service I've ever seen, and I used to work IN customer service!

The home we purchased 14 years ago was partially waterproofed by Ohio State Waterproofing.we called them to complete the job. Prompt and courteous response. They completed the job and added the micro fiber to one wall. All is well, basement dry and wall is stable. My daughter purchased a home and the first rain she had at least 2 inches of water in the entire basement. Called Ohio State Waterproofing, Basement has been dry ever since. Two for Two for us. Would recommend to anyone.
