First off you have to understand that this is a little more than a triage hospital. I've had both good and bad experiences here. I just thank God that we have a hospital in our little town.

My fiancé and I are expecting a little one. We are both over the road truck drivers so being able to see a doctor on the regular is a bit hard which causes me to worry a lot about our little one. We went to Berger health system ER because I was worried over miscarrying and the staff was wonderful! The nurses were genuine and dr. Darryl Koop was fantastic. He’s a very honest and straight forward doctor which we loved about him, he found us an OB doctor we could see while in OH. They all really go the extra mile to help. We didn’t even have to wait over 5 minutes before they called us back. This hospital was the best I’ve been to.

I went there to have my back looked at. I could barely walk, let alone was barely able to drive there. Had my 4 year old son with me, because i had nobody else to watch him. I explained my symptoms and told them everything ive tried to relieve the pain and what made it worse. No XRays, no blood work, nothing.my son was being more impatient with the doctors than i was. He demanded his mommy to get better to the doctor, because he just stood there and told me to go home and rest. Crying even harder, like i wasnt already crying from the pain, nodded and never came back. Still, have back pain, its been a week. Even went to Bergers urgent care, only to be given a prescription for an Xray. So, most likely, ill have to go to a different state or something to figure out what is wrong with my back. Sad medical "professionals" aren't professional.

I have been to a lot of hospitals throughout my life and this has got to be the slowest, most Imcompetent, lack of professionalism, poor excuse for a hospital. It even makes the VAMC look good. How do you people honestly rate it past one star is beyond my comprehension. Do yourself a favor and don't come here!

The experience is pretty similar across every department, or at least ones I've experienced. The amount of inconsistencies and frankly incompetence at times is appalling.
